WHEN HE WOKE, THE CAVE was so dark that even leopard eyes could barely make out silhouettes. It was quiet too, not completely but the sounds of the jungle were muffled by all the rock surrounding them. It was like being cut off from the world. He imagined it was what a baby must have felt before it was violently expelled into the cruelties of life. It was also b****y uncomfortable to share the space with a man he barely knew and very soon would be expected to f**k. It was their second night alone in the dark. The previous one Aalyan had pretty much collapsed after the travel, the running and the shock of finding himself in a whole new pack.
