Ghian Aalyan hadn’t shifted back since the last Full Moon, which had come not too long after he’d broken down in Ghian’s arms. As much as it’d pained him, he’d also felt the grief that Aalyan had been keeping inside release somewhat. It couldn’t change their reality but it was a step towards understanding and acceptance. At least that’s what Ghian had been telling himself. But his mate hadn’t shifted into his human form in nearly two weeks. Not even by himself. Ghian would have felt strange asking—not that his mate could currently answer—but Aalyan’s clothes were on a shelf right on his line of sight every morning and the fold of his favourite tunic hadn’t changed.
