Callista's Point of View
"Bye, honey. I'm gonna miss you so much," my mom said, her hands cradling my cheeks with a mix of tenderness and sadness.
"I'm gonna miss you more, mom," I replied, feeling the warmth of her touch spreading comfort through my veins, momentarily easing the turmoil within me.
"Mag-iingat ka palagi okay? At kung may kailangan ka, don't hesitate to call me or your dad, okay?" Mom's voice held a hint of worry as she reminded me of their constant support. Tumango-tango naman ako.
"Yes, mom. Mag-iingat din po kayo palagi ni daddy," I responded, savoring the gentleness of her fingers as they brushed against my skin.
"We will, honey," she assured me, wrapping me in a tight embrace. Lumapit naman din si daddy sa amin at nakiyakap din sa amin ni mommy.
