New life,unexpected events-Elara Thorne

I was standing in front of my mirror ready with my scrubs,my sthescope,and my measuring tape my kit in awe.

My parents were so proud and happy.After leaving home I reached hospital to Department of Paediatrics where I was posted.

Notice board has list of our batchmates who were posted into various units of paediatrics like NICU,PICU,OPD and Ward duty.

While looking at my names,I saw a tall,handsome guy standing next to me looking for his name.I have never seen him before and was questioning myself why am I always in my own words.

I had NICU duty.So i went with my other batch mates.

It was so painful to watch newborns connected to ventilation and intravenous drugs to be alive.They were fighting for their life and i was fighting my urge to cry.

Cagney is posted in Obstretics and Gynaecology.I remember when we saw our first delivery and she fainted 😂.

I had lot of writing file word,collecting samples etc.

When I was waiting in lab for results an unfamiliar voice was heard "How was the 1st day in icu".I turned around and it was the handsome boy who I saw in the morning.

I didn't know he was." It was okk" I replied,"be careful,icu is lot of work choose ur mentor properly"

With that I left with my reports waving that handsome boy goodbye.

My duty was finally over!!!!!!

What a tedious and tiring day it was!!!!

Then a w******p notification popped

It was timetable for our night shifts.

I was assigned with an unfamiliar name.

I had no idea who he was!!

Another message popped in my phone

"Hi!This is Caspian Vale.I am posted with u for night duty"

I had no idea who he was.

I called Cagney.She screamed like 15 times before replying

"U r so naive!!The one who was standing next to u this morning.The silent one!!!No one likes him because he doesn't talk much and has very few friends!!All the best!!"
