I drove like a madman heading to that place. My heart and mind were in turmoil as thoughts of Brielle invaded my mind. I tried to calm down by telling myself that she was safe. Till that moment, I couldn't feel anything that would suggest that she was in danger, but couldn't help but get a bad feeling. Our relationship was just progressing well, but I don't know how it will be now that this happens. Will she just have a change of heart and distance herself from me? Scary as it may be, her not being safe is way more scary. I just want her to come back and be safe. I cannot ask for much.
