Blake's POV
I brought Brielle back to my house. I didn't take her to the hospital because then I would have to do a lot of explaining, and I would have to let her folks know about her condition. I think she wouldn't want her folks to know either. Everyone was concerned about her. I took her to my room and laid her on the bed, but her condition had worsened. She was hot and had caught a fever. I had no choice. I carried her to the bathtub and opened the cold water. I went inside with her with our clothes on. I was trying to get the fever to break. She shivered and groaned and it hurt my heart. I felt so helpless about not being able to make her feel better immediately.
After a while, I took her out and called for my mother to come and help me. I left them so that she could change Brielle
