Behind The Book: To a long lasting journey

Chapter 1: The Book

While walking towards my classroom, I heard many chitchats as I passes by the corridor. Some of them are calling my attention but Ididn't waste my time to look at them. As I enter the room, there goes the chitchats again coming from my gossipers classmates. I walk ahead towards my sit at the back without looking at them. Unfortunately, I stumbled.

"HAHAHAHAHA!" they laugh in chorus. Still, I gave them a cold look and pretended that Ididn't get hurt though it's totally hurt. Stella is the real bully here in the class and the one who stumbled me.

After the incident, our professor arrived. I fix up myself and greet the professor. Some of my classmates still can't get enough about what happened to me earlier and still, I didn't mind them. They're only a waste of time.

After the long discussion...

"Ok class, bring out a 1 whole sheet of paper. We will be having a long quiz about these lessons I discussed." prof said while erasing some writings on the board.

I heard out a deep sigh from my classmates and some of them are starting to get nervous while reviewing their notes quickly.

I brought out my paper and jot down my name. This is one of my ability, I can easily memorize and understand the nature of the lessons that have been discussed. And the long quiz started.

As usual, I got a perfect score. It ain't new to me and I'm used to get a ready-to-stab me-anytime-look from my classmates anytime I got a perfect score.

It's already 12:00nn, I'm currently here at the cafeteria eating my lunch. After I ate, I immediately go to the library to find and browse again some unfamiliar books. I'm wearing a smile while my eyes are twinkling because of the bunch of books that I have infront of the table. While browsing, there's a book that caught my attention. I grab that book to look at and...

IT SPARKLED!!!

The cover page are sparkling!! Is this for real? Or is it just an illusion? I rubbed my eyes if I were just mistaken.

I look in my surroundings to assure that no one's looking at my place. Whew!Luckily, there are no looking.

I return my attention to the book and open it slowly. I was shock when the book brightened so I immediately close the book. My heart is beating so fast to the fact that this is real and I'm not dreaming!

I kept the book inside my bag and check the cctv cameras on the ceiling. ThankGod! They are far from this place and the direction of the cctv cameras were not towards in my place so I'm safe now.

YEHEY! I run fast outside as the professor claimed to dismiss us. I've waited for a vehicle to pick up students here outside the campus. When I saw a one coming, I run towards and took a ride on it.
