Cathy held Wendy's hand, just as Alex had held hers, though not as tightly. She didn't let go even after they left the hall.
Wendy had never been so close to someone before and felt a bit embarrassed. But she didn't want to pull her hand away, so she could only chat with Cathy and describe the scenery they saw.
After about twenty minutes, they arrived at the lakeside.
As Alex had said, the banquet was set around the lake. Cathy glanced around and saw everyone dressed nicely, displaying a vibrant scene.
