Chapter 5 Cloud Watching I watched the clouds pass by, wondering if it was alright for someone in my position to just wish to lay in the grass for a while in plain sight. The idea had struck as I strolled down the hill behind the house, remembering the rolling hills that I would see outside the windows of the convent and how much fun it would be to just roll down them myself. But alas, I was never allowed to do it then. I tuned in what my mother-in-law was saying: the latest gossip about Lady Whoever.
