"Why are you so cheerful today, Miss Susan?"
Susan was greeted by a junior employee after she walked into the company with a broad smile.
"I'm in a good mood like this every day, aren't I, Miss Veronica?"
Veronica shook her head before teasing with a playful tone.
"Usually, I see your pretty face looking grumpy every day, Miss Susan."
Susan lifted her chin and laughed heartily, in high spirits.
"But from now on, the grumpy, often moody Susan will be no more."
"Oh, why is that, Miss Susan? Did you find a new job with a better salary?"
Susan shook her head.
“No, it's not that — it's because I finally got rid of that nasty enemy, so they're out of sight and out of mind now, that's why!”
Veronica furrowed her brows before asking uncertainly.
