"Emmy, the President is calling you to his office."
Emilia looked up from her work, gazing at the person who had called her, her direct supervisor. Hailey's eyes were filled with sympathy, likely because she knew Emilia was about to be summoned for torment.
"Yes, Hailey ."
She stood up but couldn't help worrying about the work in front of her, which Hailey understood well.
"Don't worry about the work here. I'll have Susan take over. Go on."
"Thank you, Sister Lee."
She forced a smile at Hailey before deciding to walk away, with Hailey watching her leave with a heavy heart.
"The President is really something. Why does he like to bully Emmy so much?"
Emilia stepped out of the elevator and stopped at the desk of Jason's secretary.
"I'm here to see the President, Anita."
