New pup

High above the heavens, thick white clouds drifted across the endless sky. Standing silently on one of them was a tall figure dressed in a black hooded robe. A silver mask hid his entire face, leaving only his glowing red eyes visible beneath the darkness. The fierce wind howled around him, causing the edges of his robe to whip violently in the air. Yet despite the storm raging around him, the mysterious man remained perfectly still as he watched the world below. Far beneath the heavens stretched forests, rivers, villages, and powerful kingdoms filled with life. The world looked peaceful from above, almost fragile beneath the endless sky. Suddenly, another figure appeared beside the masked man. Unlike him, the newcomer looked uneasy, his expression tense as though something terrible was about to happen. “Should we interfere now?” he asked quietly. “The child has already been born.” The masked man remained silent for several seconds before finally speaking. “Not yet,” he replied calmly, his voice cold and unreadable. The second man frowned with worry. “But if the Fire Realm discovers the truth...” “They will discover it eventually,” the masked man interrupted before the other could finish speaking. His glowing eyes narrowed slightly as he stared down at the lands below. “The real question is whether she will survive long enough before then.” The second figure lowered his head respectfully. “Then what should we do?” The masked man’s red eyes glowed faintly beneath the silver mask. “Keep watching her,” he ordered quietly. “Especially the child.” “Understood.” Without another word, the second figure disappeared instantly into the wind. The masked man remained alone among the clouds, silently staring toward a dark forest far below. For the briefest moment, a strange emotion crossed his eyes. Pity. Then, like smoke fading into the storm, he vanished. .... Deep inside a forest far from human cities stood a hidden werewolf village surrounded by towering trees. At night, the village looked peaceful beneath the silver glow of the moon. Bonfires burned brightly between the wooden huts while children laughed happily as they ran around. Older wolves sat together sharing stories and drinks beneath the calm night sky. The peaceful atmosphere suddenly shattered when a painful scream echoed from one of the huts. “Aah!” A worried man immediately rushed inside. The moment he entered, panic filled his face. A young woman lay sweating heavily on the bed while tightly clutching her swollen stomach. “Honey!” he cried anxiously. “What’s wrong?” “The baby…” the woman groaned painfully. Before he could move closer to help her, three older women hurried into the hut. One of them immediately pushed him aside. “Move aside,” she ordered firmly. “But...” “Do you want your wife to give birth safely or not?” The nervous man quickly nodded and stepped back. Moments later, he found himself standing outside the hut while painful cries continued echoing from within. He paced back and forth restlessly as fear tightened inside his chest. “Push harder!” “The child is almost here!” The young father clenched his trembling hands together as sweat formed across his forehead. The cries inside only grew louder, making his heart pound harder with every passing second. Then finally, after what felt like forever, the loud cry of a newborn baby suddenly filled the night air. The man froze in place. Relief washed over him instantly. A few moments later, the hut door slowly opened and one of the older women stepped outside with a tired smile on her face. “Congratulations,” she said softly. “It’s a girl.” The young father quickly rushed inside the hut. His wife lay weakly against the bed, breathing heavily from exhaustion. The older woman carefully handed him the newborn baby wrapped in soft cloth. The man held his daughter carefully, almost afraid she would break in his hands. Slowly, the little girl opened her eyes. The father instantly froze. Her eyes were beautiful. Bright blue. But hidden deep within them was a strange golden-red glow no werewolf child should possess. The man’s heartbeat quickened immediately. Beside him, his wife noticed the sudden silence and frowned weakly. “What’s wrong?” she whispered softly. The father forced a smile onto his face despite the fear growing inside him. “Nothing,” he replied quickly, though his expression betrayed him completely. “Let me see her,” the woman whispered. Carefully, he handed the baby back to her. The mother’s tired face softened lovingly as she stared down at her daughter. “She’s beautiful,” she whispered gently. Then her smile slowly faded. “But her eyes…” The father sat beside her and gently touched the baby’s tiny hand. “As long as she’s healthy, that’s enough,” he said quietly. But deep inside, both of them felt uneasy. Because those eyes were different. Dangerously different. Outside the hut, the full moon shone brightly over the sleeping village. And somewhere deep within the dark forest, someone had already sensed the child’s birth. .... Five years later, the peaceful forest once again echoed with cheerful voices. “Tyra! Hurry up or we’ll be late,” Lexie called from outside their hut. A cheerful little girl quickly ran outside while carrying a tiny bouquet of white flowers in her hands. “Coming, Mama!” she shouted happily. Tyra’s long black hair bounced behind her as she hurried toward her mother. Lexie smiled softly at the sight of her daughter. Tyra looked innocent and adorable, like any normal child in the village. No one would ever guess the dangerous secret hidden inside her. The mother and daughter quietly walked through the forest path together. Birds chirped gently above them while the cool morning wind brushed against the trees. After some time, they finally arrived at a small wooden hut hidden deeper within the forest. An elderly woman with silver hair sat outside weaving flower stems together. The moment she saw Tyra approaching, her tired eyes immediately brightened. “Grandma!” Tyra shouted excitedly. The little girl rushed forward and handed her the flowers proudly. “I picked these for you!” The elderly woman smiled warmly before pulling Tyra into a gentle embrace. “My little Tyra brought me flowers again?” she asked softly. Tyra nodded proudly. For a brief moment, sadness flashed across the old woman’s face before quickly disappearing again. “Grandma?” Tyra asked quietly. The elderly woman smiled once more. “Nothing’s wrong, little one. Grandma is just happy.” Tyra wrapped her tiny arms around the woman tightly. “Don’t cry, Grandma. I’m here.” Lexie quietly watched them from nearby as pain tightened inside her chest. After some time, Tyra ran outside to play alone. The moment the little girl disappeared from sight, the atmosphere inside the hut changed completely. The elderly woman’s face turned serious. “The full moon ceremony is in seven days,” she said quietly. Lexie’s fingers tightened around her dress. “I know.” “Have you sensed anything unusual recently?” Lexie hesitated briefly before shaking her head. “No… but I still feel uneasy.” The old woman sighed heavily. “As long as the truth stays hidden, Tyra will remain safe.” Lexie lowered her eyes silently. Deep down, she no longer believed that would last forever. The older Tyra became, the harder it was to hide her strange eyes. And if the Fire Realm ever discovered the child existed… Everything would be over. Days passed quickly, and soon the full moon ceremony finally arrived. The entire werewolf village gathered beneath the glowing moonlight. Older wolves stood proudly while younger wolves waited nervously for the ceremony to begin. The Alpha climbed onto a giant rock before releasing a loud howl into the night sky. One by one, the other wolves joined him until their voices echoed powerfully throughout the forest. Far above the village, hidden within the clouds, two shadowy figures silently watched everything below. “So the child really survived,” one of them said coldly. “It seems the mother hid her well,” the second replied quietly. The first figure laughed softly. “How long can she protect a half-blood child?” Suddenly, another voice echoed behind them. “The King is calling for you both.” Without hesitation, the two figures disappeared instantly into the darkness. The moonlight above the village returned to normal as though nothing had happened. Meanwhile, far away from the celebration, Lexie sat quietly beside her sleeping daughter inside their small hut. Candlelight flickered softly across Tyra’s peaceful face while Raphael sat nearby watching them both silently. He loved them. Especially Tyra. Even if she was not his blood. Still, something continued bothering him deeply. “Yura,” he finally said quietly. Lexie looked up immediately. “What is it?” Raphael studied her carefully. “Why didn’t I sense Tyra’s presence at the ceremony tonight?” Lexie’s heart skipped painfully, but her face remained calm. “She stayed with my mother,” she replied softly. “She wasn’t feeling well.” Raphael stared at her silently for several seconds before nodding slowly. “I see.” Although he said nothing more, suspicion still lingered inside his eyes. Outside the hut, darkness quietly swallowed the forest whole. Then suddenly, a pair of glowing red eyes appeared between the trees. The mysterious figure silently watched the family from the shadows. His gaze slowly settled on the sleeping child. For the first time in five years… Theodore Rakis had finally returned.
