James' POV
Coming home and seeing how Marcy decorated was a nice surprise. I never thought that my place wasn't homey until I saw what Marcy did. The minimalistic style was still there, but the warm colors made the house feel more like a home versus a hotel room.
There were flowers in bright colored vases around the house, some big, some small. The curtains that were always closed were now open, letting in more light. The bare floor now had a soft patterned rug that the coffee table sat on top of. The empty shelves and walls were decorated with pictures of us from previous dates, and the party we had. The couch now had some colorful pillows and a throw blanket which made it look much more comfy.
Walking through the kitchen to the dining room, I was shocked to see Marcy waiting for me. S
