I didn't know anything about the forbidden woods. Where it was at or why it was forbidden. All I knew, was that Marcy should probably not be there. I thought back to what Gaia had said, Marcy is okay. She must have known I would lose it once I found out where she was.
"The forbidden woods is where the vampires from the clan of generals were sent 300 years ago to train. Its cursed. Everyone who entered either didn't make it out alive, or was too f****d up to continue in battle," Veronica explained to us.
"I was lucky because the Mother Vampire was there and blessed me. She told me that I would give birth to a strong girl who will be a leader and have strength that surpasses the kings."
