"Marcy, you're a terrible liar. You're a vampire, I saw you jump. And you have an Alpha werewolf for a mate. I don't understand how, but you do. I know you're not human," Jordan said. I was about to protest, but Gaia came forward, making him freeze.
We will trust him. He will be important. Gaia said. She didn't recede to the back of my mind, instead she took control without blocking me out.
I watched as Jordan fell to the ground kneeling before us. He bared his neck in submission.
"What is your name?" Gaia asked, her voice sounding elegant.
"I am Milo." he responded, not looking up. So this must be Jordan's wolf.
"Milo. Do you know who I am?" Gaia asked.
"Yes. You are Gaia." He responded. "I will serve you. I will be loyal. I will not betray you."
