I growled at Jordan, making him put his hands up in surrender. He gave me a smile, making James growl at him as well. I could tell he was enjoying this, and I would have to talk to him about that later. "Okay. Okay. I'll leave," Jordan said with a smirk on his face. "If you need me, you know where to find me," he told me, and I nodded. "Remember what I said, Alpha. Don't hurt her again," he warned, before opening the door and leaving. "I will kill him," James growled as he watched the door close. "No, you will not," I said, making him snap his head towards me. "Why are you defending him?" "He's my friend. You will not hurt him," I said defiantly. "I don't want you talking to him again," he growled at me. "Who are you to tell me who I can and cannot talk to?" I snapped back at him.
