The next morning was a bustle of activity as the whole house woke up and got ready for their long drives home. Breakfast was minimal, coffee was in abundance. This was a good thing, because Jenny hadn't slept a wink. Every moment she and Aaron had spent together over this past week kept running like a movie through her mind, keeping her awake through the night. Nevertheless, it was time to leave this vacation behind and move on with life. She was glad she'd had some time to get to know Love and be with her Dad and brother and his family...and she was glad to have met Aaron even if they weren't meant to be together.
That's what people did, right? Be glad about the experience no matter if it ended with their heart crushed into a million pieces.
