The first item on the agenda after cleaning up breakfast dishes was horseshoes. At least, that was the first item on Rudy's agenda. Jenny had helped clear the table, taken the cloth napkins downstairs to the laundry and upon returning found that Love and Aaron had taken over washing and drying dishes.
"Your Dad and Jimmy went out to play horseshoes," Love told her. "We've got the rest of this I think, don't we?" She looked up at Aaron, because everyone in the house had to look up when speaking to him, they were a tiny lot and he was like a great, blonde lumberjack among them.
"Absolutely," he responded. "We can catch up on old times." Aaron nudged Love with his elbow and it was all Jenny could do to keep from rolling her eyes. She managed not to, excusing herself to go get dressed ins
