I hurried to the kitchen and grabbed a flask. I turned the drink into a flask and rinsed the mug. I placed it in a corner and hurried upstairs to change. I threw on whatever I could reach and hurried downstairs. I grabbed the flask and stuffed it in my bag.
Mom was already in the kitchen when I stepped out. Her eyes swept through me.
"Why are you wearing this and why do you have a bag with you?", She asked.
"There is nothing wrong with it. It's just jeans and a shirt, simple and basic. The bag is to match my outfit", I said calmly.
"Fine, if that's what you're comfortable with. Can we go now?", She asked and I nodded.
The ride to the hospital was quick and quiet. When she parked at the hospital, I glanced around in confusion.
"What about the other hospital? I mean the
