I woke with my Eden laid across my chest and I never wanted to wake up any other way again. We had gone further in the last 24 hours than I had ever thought we would. We had done things I didn't think she would have open to either. And I was surprised how I'd been able to control both mine and my wolf's more basal urges. I was actually starting to feel a bit of an i***t for not trusting my control and separating the two of us, causing us both unnecessary hardship.
She had told me she loved me and I had said I loved her back. I literally felt over the moon. My wolf had howled in delight that our mate loved us. He had practically ignored me all yesterday choosing to link with his mate. I couldn't blame him, I think he had wanted our mate more than me and that was saying something.
