Conner The crowd was huge. I could scent there were equal numbers from both packs. Many of the members of my home pack eyed me with hate. It was understandable, in their eyes I was responsible for the worst attack in recent history of our pack. Many of these people may have had family or children die that day. A few of them eyed me warily, like I was an unpredictable wild animal. Only a couple held pity in their eyes for me, perhaps they were the few that knew or least suspected the truth.
