I had just received a mind-link from the driver to say they were almost here. My parents had missed quite a lot in this last month while they were in New Zealand. I had tried not to withhold much from them, but I had certainly skimmed over certain details. I had a feeling my dad knew more than he let on, though. He and Mitch, his former Beta, and Mitch's father, Arnold, his former former Beta, were still very good friends and I highly doubted they hadn't told him things. The fact that my father hadn't returned a month ago suggested he trusted me, and Conner, to handle it all.
