“Is there a way that you know of? You know, to fix the curse?” I c**k my head to Nate as I search his eyes carefully. He seems shocked that I would ask that question, but at the same time, he seems intrigued.
He swallows hard and shakes his head slowly as he looks at me. “Uhm, let’s not talk about this here, baby.” His eyes scan the room just over my head as he pulls me into his side. “Come on, let’s go home.”
