She laughed and the hairs on Mireya's body stood up. "So my sisters are working behind my back, huh? Unfortunately, your life ends today, human." Buka spat out the word 'human' before floating towards her at a fast pace and Mireya stiffened in her position.
But a flash of red hair stopped in front of her and Mireya finally woke up. And she cried out when she saw the tip of the sword a few inches away from her face. She twisted her body backwards to avoid being hit and kicked the demon's stomach, causing it to turn over. Mireya took the chance and immediately stood up. A few seconds later, Reina appeared beside her and handed Mireya her sword.
Mireya accepted it and bowed her head in shame. "I'm sorry, Reina. I never thought I would fall asleep."
