Michael's POV

Today I laid my son to rest. As they lowered his coffin in the ground, I swore I'd get the b***h who done this.

That ungrateful evil daughter in law of mine. She should've burned with her coven. I remember the day Kyle told me what she was.

Flashback 1993

I was in my study going over my next sermon. When Kyle barged in. He looked completely distraught. Concerned I stopped what I was doing.

"What's going on son?" I asked him.

"Dad, I have something I need to tell you. But you have to promise nothing will happen to Mia and the baby." He says in desperation.

" Son what is it?" I ask growing more concerned for him.

"No Dad I need you to promise me!" He yells as he slams his fists on my desk.

"Mia's one of them. She's a witch. I don't know what to do Dad. She's having my baby and I still love her." He manages to say through his sobs.

"It's okay son we will figure this out." I tell him as I walk over to him and pulled him in my embrace.

"Dad, if they find out. I'll be burned with her. You know how they are." He explains his fears.

" That will never happen Kyle. I will never allow it but, son you know what

She is. You know what they are capable of." I try to make him see reason.

"No Dad not her. Not the mother of my child." He says letting me know that isn't an option.

"What else do you know then?" I ask him.

"I know where her coven is. I know where the meet."

"That's good son I will hand them over and u will keep Mia away when they come."

Mia was never supposed to know the plan but, she was always a nosey little girl. She over heard me talking on phone. It was about the attack on her coven. She rushed out of the house. Kyle chased her. That's when I got a look at the monster she was.

She threw him across the yard into our car using her mind. She left him there with badly injured. The man that loved her despite what she was. He protected her. I tried to warn him but, he wouldn't listen to me.

I should've done what was best for him as his father. I failed him. Now that Kyle isn't here to protect her. She will soon find her days are numbered.

After the death of her coven. Mia decided to leave with Kyle's baby. She made it clear the love she had for him burned with her coven. That's when Kyle broke. Against my advice he forced her to marry him. He decided that Mia's problem was lack of discipline.

Things looked bad for a while but, she finally got in line. My son wasn't a monster. He was just in love with one. She was just a stupid girl. Who had no idea what Kyle done for her.

Father Richard, would have found her coven. With or without Kyle's help. We handed them over so that they wouldn't show up and her be there. My Grandson was the only reason she lived. Now nothing is going to keep her save.

My spies informed me she is hiding out under Jonathan knight's protection. She thinks she's safe but, we have 4 vampires in the lab. Our scientist are studying their strengths and weaknesses. As soon as we know how to take them down. We're going destroy them.

What we know so far they have many abilities. They have think ability to control your thoughts and actions with compulsion. They have the ability to move at lightening speed. The have the super sensitive hearing. The ability to heal from anything almost as quickly as they are injured. This ability stops them from aging. One of them equals the strength of 15 of us. Only 2 way we know of that can kill one. Stake to the heart and decapitation.

King Jonathan knight lives with about a hundred vampires but, the whole area is crawling with them. Then there are those who among us. The myths that vampires can't live in the sun and have no reflection. Are just that myths. That the vampires started themselves to keep their lives secret. Either way it's not going to be an easy task but, we will find a way.

Today, I've been informed they are experimenting with gases. It's out mission to find something that leave the vamps disoriented long enough to attack. It is our only chance. I won't give up. It is now my life's mission to take down the one protecting my sons killer.

My poor Grandson living amongst them monsters. He isn't like them. I was scared he'd turn out like his Mom but, he never did. He's just a scared human boy. He belongs with me his family. I have to get him before she's gets him killed.

"Dont worry son. You just rest with the lord I'll finish you're work for you." I say as I look up at the sky.
