Chapter 6

For two weeks straight I did exactly what Eve suggested staying out of sight. For two weeks I didn't go to karate or go to the park to play soccer with my friends. Today I decided to go out and play some soccer. As I made my way to the soccer field I saw a old karate classmate Brandon. I had a crush on him for a very long time but we never dated. We always flirted but kept it down low.

Me: Brandon!

Brandon: Joanna, wow I haven't seen you in forever

Me: Yea I know. Why did you leave us. We missed you and your siblings in the gym

Brandon: Yea, I plan on coming back soon. How's your siblings?

Me: They're great. I didn't know you come to the field and play.

Brandon: Yeah, I normally come at night but I came a little earlier today

Me: Ok well I guess I gotta see how really good you are then.

We play soccer together for two hours and realize it's starting to get late. Brandon said he would drive me home so I decided to walk to the ladies room before we head back. I decided to freshen up a bit. As I get done rinsing my face and look up, I see Sergio in the mirror standing behind me.
