Chapter 16

As I wake up I see Brandon is not in bed again but a note is left on the dresser. The note says "Good morning, I hope you slept well sorry for not being there. I got called into work. I hope you have a good day" As I finish reading the letter I get myself ready for a quick shower to head to work. As I walk towards the front of the house it's empty. So I lock it up and call Eve to come pick me up for work.

Thirty minutes later Eve arrives.

Eve: Hey girl how's it going with you and Romeo?

Me: It's going wonderful. Are you ready for work?

Eve: Yeah only if that Josh guy isn't there. He talk way too much and I don't wanna hear it.

As we start to end our conversation we are right in front of our job. We enter bath & body works and clock in.

Six hours later I finish my shift and a hour after mine Eve finishes up. We both head to the food court for some dinner then decide to head out. As we are walking out into the parking garage we notice a black Camero and a van next to it.
