Chapter 30

I hear a knock on the door and open it to find my dad waiting for me.

Sakima: Are you ready baby girl?

I smile at my father and give him a hug.

Me: I'm ready

As we approach the music begins to play. Everyone looks towards me and stand as my father walks me down the aisle arm in arm. As I am walking, I see everyone smiling and recording. I look straight ahead and see Brandon smiling. As we approach to the front my dad kisses me on the cheek and steps aside. Then the pastor takes over.

Pastor: We have come here today to welcome the marriage of Joanna Marie Davis and Brandon Jose Gonzalez. Joanna and Brandon would you like to say your vows.

We look at each other and tell the pastor yes.
