Midnight yawned as she jumped on to the fence. Once again she gazed out to the forest. Where she knew the little animals were probably asleep. I wonder what it's like to live our there. She shuddered, she knew it wouldn't be bad out there but it sure would be cold. Speaking of cold, She thought. I'm going to go take a nap in my twolegs den on my bed. Maybe they will be awake and they will give me food! As she headed back and jumped of the fence, she looked back to the forest and ignored it, thinking about food and sleep. As she walked in the flap and layer in her bed the last thought she had was , I wonder what it would be like to live there.
She woke up by a fuzzy black and white face staring at her. "Hey midnight! It's me, oreo, remember? "Of course I remember you " Replied midnight "So what do you want
to do?" Well" Replied midnight, "let's get out of here before our twolegs come, they are so mean!" She shivers ad looks at oreo as they realize what they must do.They nod and head out together under the inky black sky.
