Chapter 36Evan resisted the urge to slap the steering wheel in triumph. He’d done it! All the scheming, cajoling and praying for luck during the past three days had paid off. And now Danny was his. Just one more hurdle to get over to forge their connection. He thought of the night to come and shivered. Damn, was he really such a blushing virgin? Well, it was his wedding night after all. And this was the last offering he could make to Danny to prove his sincerity, his commitment and his love.
So far, Danny had been quiet in the car, just sitting with an adorable look of contentment on his face. Evan hoped to see a lot more of that. He reached over and squeezed his new husband’s hand. “You okay?”
Danny looked up and smiled. “Couldn’t be better. Do you want to tell me where we’re headed?”
