"miss, your mother needs to undergo the transplant surgery soon or there is risk of losing her life."
The doctor's announcement was a bolt out of the blue for Feiyu who was still working as hard as possible to gather $500,000 for her mother's surgery.
"D-doctor, is there no other way?"
"I'm sorry, no. But we'll try our very best to prolong her life as much as possible."
The doctor shook his head with a grim look and left after saying that.
Lu Feiyu looked through the glass at her mother with numerous tubes inserted into her body.
She slid against the door and sat on the floor, tears streaming down her face.
She buried her head in her knees, her shoulders trembling as she sobbed.
The hallway was very quiet at 1:00am in the morning.
Her sad sobs echoed in the quiet hallway,....it will cause anyone who heard it to feel sad and anyone who witness it to cry too.
It was already dawn by the time Lu Feiyu got herself together.
She wiped her face with a tissue, tossed it into the dustbin and left the hospital.
She had to make something for her mom to eat before hurrying to her numerous jobs
Leaving the hospital, Lu Feiyu took a taxi with the last bit of money she had on her, alighted at a rundown alley way downtown and entered the alley....
