The handsome man, Dominic Watson, was smiling broadly, his teeth gleaming in the morning light, as he gazed at Sasha with an unnerving intensity. He had already brought breakfast in bed for her, and Sasha stared at him, her mind racing with questions. "Who are you?" she demanded, her voice firm but laced with a hint of fear. Dominic stood up from the bed, his eyes never leaving hers, and smiled again, his teeth dazzling in the sunlight streaming through the windows. "My name is Dominic Watson," he said, his voice smooth and confident, but Sasha did not find him funny. She looked around the vast room, her eyes widening in awe, and sighed. "What am I doing here? Why am I here? Did you kidnap me?" she asked, her anger and confusion growing by the minute. Dominic's smile faltered for a moment before he replied, "Yeah, I guess you could say I kidnapped you, because I'm not letting you go anywhere from now on, Sasha Stone." Sasha was shocked that he knew her name and also knew that she had just gotten divorced. "How did you know my name, and how did you know I just got divorced? The news isn't even out yet!" she exclaimed, her mind reeling with questions. Dominic looked at her, his eyes glinting with amusement, and smiled again. "Let's just say I have my ways of finding out things, Sasha," he said, his voice dripping with mystery. The news is already out, Sasha, that you and Hayden are divorced," Dominic replied, his voice calm and collected, but Sasha was upset and ran out of the room, her heart racing with anxiety. Dominic's mansion was a vast and intimidating five-story building, with bodyguards stationed everywhere, their presence making Sasha feel scared and trapped. She climbed the staircase, her feet pounding in her haste, but then ran downstairs, only to find herself lost and disoriented. The sight of men with guns downstairs made her even more tense and scared, and she looked around frantically, trying to locate the exit door. Just then, Dominic walked downstairs, a smile spreading across his face, and Sasha turned to him, her eyes blazing with fear and uncertainty. "Tell me, who are you?" she demanded, trying to keep her voice steady, but Dominic ignored her question and instead ordered the maids to fetch Sasha new dresses, shoes, and everything she needed. The maids scurried off to obey his commands, and Dominic hired bodyguards to look after Sasha, their presence making her feel both protected and trapped. As Sasha approached Dominic, her heart pounding in her chest, she couldn't help but wonder who this mysterious man was and what he wanted from her. His eyes seemed to bore into her soul, and she felt a shiver run down her spine as he gazed at her. "Who are you?" she asked again, her voice barely above a whisper, but Dominic just smiled and took her hand, leading her to a room filled with clothes and shoes, his intentions unclear. Now, I'm scared. Please tell me who you are. I need to get out of here. My mom would be looking for me everywhere," Sasha said, her voice trembling with fear and anxiety. Dominic, a man of few words, gazed at her with an intensity that made her feel uneasy. He was a powerful mafia, even wealthier than Hayden, and had harbored a secret crush on Sasha since their high school days. However, Sasha had never recognized him, blinded by her love for Hayden, and Dominic had chosen to keep his identity hidden. "Sasha, I have always crushed on you and I have always loved you, but you hated me then, back in high school," Dominic said, his voice low and husky, his eyes piercing into hers. "People called me Dom back then. I hope you remember now." Sasha's mind raced as she flashed back to their high school days, recalling how much she had despised Dominic for his involvement with bad gangs. Now, faced with the reality that the man she hated was the one who had been monitoring her and had brought her to his mansion, her anger and disgust intensified. "You, Dominic! Now I remember. So, after all these years, you haven't changed your ways? I will always hate you. Get me out of here right now!" Sasha exclaimed, her voice rising in indignation. Dominic's gaze never wavered, his eyes locked onto hers with an unnerving intensity. Why do you think I will let you slip away from me this time? Never, Sasha. I will make you fall in love with me. Hayden never loved you, but I do. Why are you so stubborn?" Dominic asked, his voice filled with conviction and a hint of frustration. Sasha's upset grew, her face reddening with anger. "Hayden is my husband..." she began, but Dominic cut her off. "Your ex-husband, and he will never love you or respect you," he said bluntly, his words piercing Sasha's heart like a dagger. She yelled at him, her voice echoing off the walls. "Hayden will still come back to me! I trust him! I can't get over him!" she exclaimed, tears streaming down her face. Dominic's expression softened, and he reached out to touch her cheek, wiping away her tears. But Sasha flinched, her anger boiling over. "Don't touch me!" she shouted, her voice trembling with rage. Dominic's face fell, but he continued to plead his case. "Sasha, you are special, and I want to treat you special. I want to treat you like a queen. You are beautiful, and I have waited all these years for you. I will make sure you change your narrative about me. I am not that bad as you think, Sasha," he said, his voice filled with sincerity. But Sasha's laughter cut him off, her eyes flashing with mockery. "You? Treat me like a queen? You're into bad business, Dominic! I can see it! All these bodyguards and men with guns? You're not into legit business, are you?" she accused, her voice dripping with disdain. Dominic's expression darkened, his eyes narrowing in response. Come on, Dominic, there's nothing to change. My narrative about you can never change, seeing all these bodyguards and men with guns says it all. Tell me, what are you? Hayden is a well-trained young man, a billionaire CEO from a good family, but you, what are you?" Sasha asked, her voice laced with disdain. Dominic's expression darkened, and he yelled at her. "Yes, you're right! You want to know my real identity? I am a mafia! I never wanted to be, but I had to. In high school, I joined a bad gang because they promised to give me money so I could save my mom, but they lied to me. My mom died in a worse condition, she suffered before her death. My dad was killed by bad people, and I became an orphan. No one from my mom or dad's family wanted me. I was on the streets, and people on the streets helped me. And you want me to turn my back on them? No, Sasha, it doesn't work that way. But that doesn't mean I'm bad. I'm a good person, and I respect women, especially those special to me. That means so much to me. You're right that Hayden came from a good background, but remember, he was born rich. His father was rich, and he inherited all those properties from his late father. But guess what? He couldn't treat his woman well, the woman who loved and respected him. He disrespected you by impregnating another woman, and you still want him?" Dominic exclaimed, his voice filled with frustration. Sasha looked at him, her expression unyielding. "No matter what you say, I will still love Hayden," she said, her voice firm. Dominic sighed, his shoulders slumping in defeat. "Now get me out of here," Sasha demanded, but Dominic didn't respond. She tried to force herself to leave the mansion, but Dominic had ordered the bodyguards to take her back to her room and lock her in. The bodyguards obeyed, and Dominic breathed in and out, his eyes fixed on Sasha's determined expression.
