Adonis sighed after he had dwelled in his thoughts for a while and had finally come to a conclusion on what he was going to do next about Aurora's cold attitude. He wasn't going to just do as he likes again. He was going to please her for real and he hopes that his way of pleasing her this time works out and does not fail like it always does. He finally stopped thinking about getting up from his bed to go back to his office but stopped and glanced at the wall clock. It was already so late already and it wasn't advisable that he go to the office that night again. Tomorrow he has so many things to plan and he can't afford to wake up late. Besides, he still needs a little more time to think about some other stuff that would help him out in his new quest of pleasing his mate. He turned back and turned on the bedside lamp before going over to the wall to switch off the lights before returning to his bed. He climbed into his bed and relaxed back as he pulled the duvet over himself and shut his eyes to sleep.

Meanwhile Aurora was also in her room and even in bed. Aurora was actually in a good mood because she didn't get to see Adonis for the whole day. At first when she didn't see him at lunch she knew he was avoiding her but needed confirmation to it. But his actions again that evening confirmed it and she was happy. She was actually so tired of seeing his face and right now she was pleased that he was also avoiding her which means they might not ever see each other again even while they were still living in the same house. Her excitement knew no band, she just couldn't believe her luck but she was really grateful for that. She relaxed back into her bed while still holding a book. It was late but she couldn't just close her eyes and sleep before she was just too excited to do that. She glanced at the time and saw it was really late. She needed some cookies actually but now she just can't get them. She wondered why she always forgot about asking the cook for a cookie in the evening and she only remembered she needed some very late at night when she was sure the cook was fast asleep.

She was going to try to do something about her forgetfulness and ask the cook for the cookies next time before even thinking of leaving the dining room. Because anytime she leaves the dining room and enters her room. She doesn't think of anything else aside from the book she was reading and that needs to stop because she is always the one that ends up regretting it every night. She always finds it hard to sleep early every single night and that was why she needed to make provision for the night when she will still be awake, when every other person has gone to bed. She sighed and dropped the book in her hand as she got down from her bed. She hadn't even turned off her room light before which made it easier for her to see where she was heading. She walked out of her room and made her way to the kitchen. She walked by the sitting room and saw everything was so quiet as hell. She knew immediately that everyone had gone to bed. She wished she could also sleep early like every other person but that's not possible.

Since she returned from the conference she went with Adonis, where she met Luna Fae, her body system totally changed and she just couldn't believe it. But she was trying her best to cope with the change but somehow she just couldn't help it but felt bored most nights. She slowly walked into the kitchen and went straight to the refrigerator. She opened it and took up a bottle of water. She opened it and poured some into a glass and zipped it down her throat before returning the other back into the refrigerator. She also took out a fruit juice from the refrigerator and shut it back before leaving the kitchen with the glass and fruit juice she had taken from the refrigerator. She sighed immediately as she walked into her room and went straight to her bed. She dropped the glass on the nightstand drawer and opened the fruit juice and poured out some into her glass. She sipped a little from the glass before climbing back into her bed and took up the book again. She has turned into a book person overnight due to what happened back at the conference she attended with Adonis.

Somehow she regretted going with him to the conference that day and also regretted going out to take some fresh air again that day. But honestly she could stop herself from thinking so much about all that has happened that day and blaming herself to be responsible. If she didn't go to Adonis' office that morning to tell him she rejected him as her mate he wouldn't ask her to go with him to a conference that changes her life. She hopes she will be able to forgive him someday in the future and love him back as her mate. But somehow she felt Adonis was still a good mate to her and she deserves someone better. But honestly her first mate rejected her but Adonis didn't, but he never really showed her the love and care she has always wanted from her mate. But since she wouldn't still forgive him because he was a cruel monster to her. That's how she sees him and nothing can change that about her. She sat up again from her bed and took up the fruit juice from her nightstand drawer and drank up the one in the glass. That became her routine throughout the night.

Soon it was morning and Adonis' eyes were already opened. He has actually planned to wake up early the next morning and he has really succeeded in doing that. He sat up on his bed and yawned loudly while stretching out his body, for a while. He sighed and finally got down from his bed as he started walking over to the wall. He turned on the light and proceeded to the restroom. Where he eased himself and brushed his teeth before coming out. He thought of what to do first. He realized that he can't just plan the party all by himself. He would need Tania help on it and he wasn't sure that she was already awake by now. He sighed for a while before walking over to the bathroom. He took his bath and walked out of the bathroom. He dried his body and got dressed into something simple before walking out of his room. He would have to go ahead and work on the files he was having in his table back in his office the previous day before he would be sure that Tania was awake and go to her in her room.

First he will have to apologise to her for how he had treated her the previous day and also please with her to help him out with his plans for the party. But also he was going to make sure Tania stopped humiliating Aurora and show her some respect as Luna and his mate. Because Aurora deserves the same respect that was given to him as the Alpha because she was the Luna of the pack and no one else. So she deserves some respect even from Tania despite the fact that he was close to Tania. He sighed and started walking over to his office. He got to his office and quickly had his seat on the chair there as he opened the files immediately and started working on them.

He remained in his office for a while as he continued walking on the files. But he kept glancing at the wall clock in his office regularly, because he didn't want to overwork and forget his plans for that morning. He can't afford to not meet up with all he has planned for the previous day.

Soon it was brighter outside and he knew immediately that it was time for him to start going over to Tania's room, because he was sure that she must definitely be awake by then. He left what he was doing and got up on his feet as he quickly started leaving his office. He walked hurriedly over to Tania room door like he was being chased by something. He knocked on the door immediately after he got there.

"Who's there, and what do you want this early?" He heard Tania speak from inside her room.

"It's me Tania, can't I come in?" Adonis asked, while he remained outside the door.
