Chapter 12

1502 Words
While Adonis and Tania were sitting together, it came into Adonis' mind to ask Tania what he could do to make Aurora happy. But he knew Tania would never tell him the truth because she doesn't really like Aurora, so it was just best if he kept his questions to himself. He thought about it even more and decided within himself that he was going to buy her gifts and try to please her in any possible way. He quickly got on his feet and Tania also joined him as they both started walking back to his house. They both walked in and immediately the cook saw them. She went straight to them when he saw them seated on a couch in the sitting room. Adonis relaxes back on the couch still thinking of what to buy now. The cook walked over to where they were both sitting and stood in front of them. "Alpha lunch is served." The cook announced. "Oh ok but has Aurora had her lunch already?" He asked. "Yes sir, I came to get you too when she was in the dining room but you weren't there, so I had to allow her to eat alone." The cook explained. "No it's actually fine, I only want to know." He said, "Ok, but are you going to eat now too or should it be later?" The cook asked. "Don't worry I will eat immediately." Adonis replied. "Ok sir." The cook bowed and turned to leave but Tania stopped her. "I'm also eating with him, so you should also dished out mine." Tania told her. "Ok ma'am." The cook bowed before walking away. Adonis sighed before getting up on his feet and started walking towards the dining room. Tania also got up and started walking closer to him. They both walked together to the dining room and they had their seats while the cook quickly dished out their food to them. After lunch they both returned to the sitting room and Adonis excuses himself from Tania as he went in search of what to buy for Aurora. After lunch Aurora immediately went to her room. She was actually happy she didn't get to see the monster she called her mate in the afternoon and she could only wish it would always be that way. She relaxed back on her bed and grabbed the book she was reading in the library before that she had taken with her when the cook went to call her for lunch. She continued from where she had stopped earlier. She actually really enjoyed the book because it has really helped her out. Because since she was in the library she actually didn't have time to think about what had happened and she was really grateful for that. She remained focused on the book as she continued reading. After a while she was still really the book with a smile plastered on her face as she admired the female lead in her book but just then she heard a knock on her room door. She didn't pay much attention to the door and just continued reading her book but then again she heard the knock on her door again and this time it was even harder. She sighed and slowly sat up on her bed and dropped the book at a spot on the bed before climbing down from the bed and started walking towards the door. She stood in front of the door and decided to ask who it was before opening up. "Who's there please?" She asked. "It's me Aurora." Adonis spoke up from outside and she frowned immediately hearing his voice. "Go away, I don't want to see you." Aurora said, "I want to give you some, just opened up." Adonis told her, while he held the bags he had put the dresses he bought for her. "Honestly, I don't want to see you,so you can just drop it there and go away, I will come out and take it in." Aurora said, still not making any attendance to open the door. "No, I really love to give it to you directly,so please just come and open the door." Adonis replied. "If you can't drop it outside there, then I think I don't need it, I'm going back to my bed." Aurora said, and turned around to walk back to her bed. Adonis wasn't pleased with what Aurora had just said but he knew he was the cause of it all. He just wished he could just stop bothering himself with Aurora's new attitude but his wolf will definitely hunt him, so he doesn't really want to live with the guilt and having his wolf always troubling him, so he has to look for a way to please Aurora and make her forgive him and forget about what happened. "Ok fine, you don't need to go back to your bed, here I just dropped it and bye and left already." He said, and dropped the bag on the floor besides her door and started walking away. Aurora remained standing at the door as she listened carefully to his footsteps. She sighed when she couldn't hear the footsteps anymore she knew immediately that he had gone far away. She slowly flipped open her door and took up the bag in front of her door and locked back her door before returning to her bed. On her way she wondered what was in the bag but decided not to open it yet until she had finally got to her bed. She took her seat on her bed and opened the bag. She took out the dress that was in the bag and a smile found its way into her face. She could deny the fact that the dress was really so very beautiful and she couldn't help but hug the dress in her body. She was happy for that moment but that doesn't justify the fact that Adonis was still a monster to her. She loves the dress and of course she would definitely wear it. She left the dress in her body for a while before she finally got up and took it to her closet. She put the dress in a hanger and put it into her closet before glancing at it once more. She walked back to her bed again and climbed in before picking up the book she was reading and resumed again with the reading. Adonis went back to the sitting room sad that Aurora had really refused to see him. He was actually excited to go and present her with the dress and he had actually planned to see her reaction when she opened the bag in front of him and saw the dress he had gotten for her. He was actually sad about that but he would still try to understand her. He won't give up until he finally makes up with her and also makes her happy again and also forgives him. He sat down on a couch in the sitting room but his mind was still not at peace. He remained seated there but he was feeling somehow restless. He felt like going over to Aurora's room again to ask her if she likes the dress. He got up on his feet and started walking towards her room but stopped halfway when he realized that going there wasn't really a good idea. He needs to give her some time to heal. He sighed and turned around and went to his room instead. He went straight to his bed and got in and relaxed back on the bed. "Do you think she would like the dress?" He asked. "Yes I think so." His wolf quickly answered. "Ok,then I hope she will forgive me after seeing the dress." Adonis sighed. "Don't get your hopes high too much, our mate is really angry because of what you have done and she wouldn't just forgive it easily,so try to understand that." His wolf told him, and he heaved a sigh knowing fully well that he was right. That made him even more determined to get her forgiveness. He wants the old Aurora back and he was so ready to do all it takes to bring back her old self. He shut his eyes and tried to catch a little sleep. Soon it was evening and again the cook called them for dinner. He felt excited to go and see Aurora again in the dining room but getting there he saw she was still as angry as hell and she even wanted to meet with his gaze. There was nothing he could do but just try to understand her. He kept quiet and just ate his food with total silence. Aurora again hurried up with her meal as usual and left him again in the dining room. He wished he could just stop her as she was going but that was a very bad idea again so he just let her be.
