Chapter 21

Adonis sighed and got up from his chair and arranged back the files into their place before he started walking out of his office. He took up a bottle of wine and glass on his way back to his room and went over to his room. He walked into his room after a while and went straight to his couch and had his seat and dropped the bottle of wine and glass on the table. He opened the wine and poured out some content into a glass and took it up to his mouth and took a sip from it before dropping it back into the table. He took up a magazine and started reading it as he relaxed back on the chair. He remained seated on his couch and buried his head on the magazine in his hand but he took it off sometime to take his wine and returned it back to his face.

Soon it was finally evening and Adonis was still holding the magazine in his hand but he wasn't reading it anymore but he was rather looking out and glancing at the time occasionally. He was actually happy that it was evening already and he just can't wait for the cook to knock on his door because then he will know that he would be going to Aurora's room any moment. He kept glancing at the door as he relaxed back on the couch. He took up his glass but found it empty, so he quickly grabbed the bottle of wine and poured out some wine but there was just a little wine on the bottle. He quickly took it and zipped it down his throat before putting down the magazine. He stood up on his feet and started walking towards his bathroom.

He quickly mixed a warm soapy water into his bathtub and took off his clothes and dumped them into the laundry basket before stepping into the bathtub. He took up the soapy and applied a little into his skin and relaxed back into the soapy water as he allowed it to wash his skin. Just then there was a knock on his room door but he didn't hear it at first because his mind wasn't there. But the cook knocked again and he heard immediately but there was no way he was going to talk because the cook would never hear him from his bathroom. If he wasn't an Alpha werewolf he wouldn't be able to hear the knock on the door but since he was an Alpha werewolf so he has a better hearing ability than any other werewolf. He had to quickly get out of the bathtub. He took a towel and tied it around his waist and ran hurriedly to the door. He stood by the door and decided to talk from there. "Who's there?" He asked.

"It's me Alpha, dinner is served." She announced.

"Ok that's noted, I will be out soon." He said,

"Ok Alpha." She replied, and started walking away.

Adonis sighed and turned back and started walking towards his closet. He flipped it open and took out the clothes he would be wearing before shutting it back. He proceeded towards his dressing chair and dried his body before dropping back the towel on the chair. He took the skin lotion and applied some on his body before dropping it. He walked back to his bed and took up his clothes and quickly got dressed into it before he started walking out of the room. He walked into the dining room and saw Aurora already seated there. He walked past her and went a little far away and pulled out a chair for himself and had his seat a little far from Aurora. He actually wanted to give her the space she always wanted. He has plans to go to her room later that night so he doesn't see any reason to rush in trying to have a conversation with her. He believes that after tonight he would finally see Aurora's smile and not her always unhappy and frowned face. He just couldn't wait for them to leave the dining room so he could finally have time to be with her.

He can't deny the fact that he misses the woman sitting in front of him right now. He just wants her and she can't help but to stare at her as the cook serves him his food. It was just a few minutes left before they finally were together in her room. He was going to make sure he satisfy her sexually with anything she has ever wanted from him but he has always refused to do that because he was still broken from what has happened to his first mate. But now he knows better and he was going to make up for everything he has done wrong and ensure he spent the whole night with her in her room making her happy enough and satisfied. Those were his plans and Target so he was going to do just that. He turned back to his food after staring at her for a while. After a while they were both done eating at the same time. Aurora stood up first and started walking out of the dining room. While he walked behind her. They both went to their separate room.

Immediately Adonis walked into his room he went straight to his drawer. He opened it and quickly took out the pack containing the diamond necklace he had bought for Aurora and was about to walk out of his room before he heard his wolf speaking up. "You don't need to rush over there besides you just finished eating,so you also need to give our mate a little space to rest and allow her to digest for a while." His wolf said,

"Hmm," he exhaled. "But I thought you also wanted us to go to her immediately?" Adonis asked.

"I didn't say that, I only said, I miss her but not inconvenience her with your presence so she wouldn't get angry." His wolf advised.

"Ok whatever, I should probably wait for sometime then." He sighed.

"Yes, please do." His wolf replied, and Adonis sat down on his bed immediately and started glancing at the pack in his hand.

Every part of him had to go over to Aurora's room immediately but he knew for sure that his wolf was right. He didn't need to rush because he would have the whole night with her. So it was best if he was just a little patient so soon it would be time to go. He remained seated on his bed for about thirty minutes before he finally stood up on his feet to leave. He walked over to his mirror and glanced at his face which was a little sweaty and cleaned off the sweat before glancing at himself one like time before walking out of the room.

Meanwhile Aurora was in her room. She just finished having her bath, because she didn't really have her bath before going out for dinner. She was actually reading the book she took from the library at noon and the book really took her attention from some things. So she just had to take her bath after having dinner. She has actually been in the bathtub since she left the dining room but the warm water was really making her feel better so she decided to stay in the bathtub for a while before she finally came out. She was now drying her body when she heard a knock on her room door and she wondered who was there. She just remembered she would need to go and ask the cook to bring her cookies that evening. But now she has overstayed in the bathtub and she was sure that before she gets dressed and leaves her room the cook must have finished all what she was doing and has returned back to her room. She sighed heavily and just then the knock came in again. She actually heard the first knock but her thoughts took her away making her not remember she had heard a knock on her room door earlier. She hit her forehead softly and slowly walked over to the door with a towel tied around her chest.

She flipped open the door with the thought that the person at the door would be the cook and no one else but gasped to see Adonis standing outside her door. "Hey, good evening." Adonis said, after a while. He could see surprises written all over Aurora's face to see him there. He knew for sure that she wasn't expecting him to show up in her room anytime.

He waited but she remained standing there and didn't bother to ask him in or even respond to his greeting, so he decided to break the silence. "Can I come in?" He asked, but she just blinked her lashes rapidly and continued staring at him.
