Chapter 29

Tania gasped hearing Adonis' voice. She thought she had heard wrong because she never expected him to come to her room that morning and also all what had happened yesterday between them. She could still remember how upset he was yesterday and he even almost hurt her out of anger. But now he was at her room door that morning knocking already. She sighed and decided not to answer his questions because somehow she wasn't sure of what she had yet heard. "Tania, I'm still out here, waiting for your response." Adonis spoke up again. And this time she was sure it was actually him.

"Sorry about that, please come in when the door is open." Tania said,loud enough for him to hear her.

Soon the door cracked open and Adonis walked into the room. He sighed heavily, staring at her sitting in her bed. And turned towards the direction of her couch and started walking towards it. "Tania come closer, I would like us to have a little discussion." Adonis said, immediately he had his seat. Tania slowly got down from her bed and started walking towards him. She was still angry at him but she just couldn't disobey him because he was the Alpha. And she also knows she was also at fault for what happened yesterday because she could remember clearly Adonis warned her to stop talking bad and Aurora but she remained stubborn and continued ranting despite his several warnings. She got to where he was seated and also had her seat beside him on the couch but gave enough space between them.

"So I'm here now, you can start talking now." Tania said, and Adonis turned to her fully, and cleared his throat.

"Well, firstly I want to actually apologise for yesterday, I'm really sorry." Adonis sighed.

"It's actually ok, you are not at fault here, you warned me but I just didn't listen." Tania replied.

"I know but, I also overreacted and I'm sorry about that." Adonis apologised.

"It's okay." Tania said,

"Ok, but hopefully you weren't injured in any way when I was upset and lost control?" Adonis asked.

"No, not at all. I'm totally fine and I wasn't injured in any way." Tania answered.

"Ok that's a relief." Adonis sighed.

"Yes,so what actually brought you to my room this morning?" Tania asked.

"Ok that," Adonis sighed. And Tania nodded. "Well I actually need your help in organizing a party." Adonis told her.

"Oh ok," Tania replied.

"Please, you really have to help me plan this party to the end ok." Adonis said,

"That's easy and you don't need to worry about it, I got this." Tania assured him.

"Ok thanks." Adonis said,

"You are welcome, but tell me when do you want this party done?" Tania asked

"I will like it done tomorrow." Adonis answered.

"What!" Tania exclaimed. "Are you for real?" Tania asked.

"Yes, why are you surprised?" Adonis asked.

"I'm sorry but Alpha, you just can't organize a party within a day." Tania complained.

"Oh ok, but then how long will it take you to make all the necessary arrangements for the party?" Adonis asked.

"Well, like two or three days." Tania told him. And Adonis sighed, he was actually looking forward to the party as soon as possible but now he would have to wait for two to three days before the party would finally be held. But nevertheless it was best for him to wait patiently for Tania to plan the party perfectly for him because he can't just rush things. But though it won't be too easy for him to stay for two or three more days and deal with Aurora's cold attitude, he doesn't really have a choice now.

"Ok then take your time, and make this party perfect." Adonis told her.

"Ok Alpha, I will do just that." Tania assured him.

"Yes, I guess I should probably get going now because I can't see, it hasn't been long since you woke up and you need to freshen up too." Adonis said,

"Yes, sort of." Tania smiled.

"Alright take your time then, I should get going now." Adonis said, and stood up on his feet.

"Yes,see you later." Tania replied.

"Alright but remember,if you need anything while working on the party plans, let me know immediately." Adonis told her.

"Yes, I sure will." Tania replied, before Adonis finally walked out of her room.

Tania heaved a sigh of relief after he had gone out of her room. She could help but wonder what the party was all about but nevertheless it was actually her business though, because he was the Alpha and he can do anything he wants to do. But honestly she was happy that Adonis came to apologise to her, because she doesn't really know how she was going to face him from now on,if he hadn't apologized to her. She was actually at fault for what happened but she just couldn't help but feel sad that Adonis almost killed her all because of Aurora. Deep down inside of her she loves Adonis and had always loved him but she was hurt that he brought in Aurora and wished she could just make Aurora go away so that Adonis would finally notice her. Though he actually cares for her and he is also close to her but he just didn't see her as someone special or what to have a romantic relationship with. But Tania has been longing for a romantic relationship between herself and Adonis but that would never happen as long as Aurora is there.

But honestly it would be best if she stopped troubling Aurora or trying to make her look bad before Adonis because it just wouldn't work out. And if she continued with that, it might ruin her good relationship with Adonis because she could see it so clearly that Adonis loves Aurora for him to defend her the way he did yesterday. She sighed and stood up from the couch she was seated on and started walking over to the bathroom. She needed a bath so she could start all the necessary preparation for the party that Adonis had asked her for.

Meanwhile Adonis has returned back into his office and he is now seated as he continues with the work on his desk. He has planned to do that and keep himself busy,so he wouldn't have time to think about anything else aside from work. Right now he has so many things to think about and Aurora was the very first thing he needed to think about but he just didn't want to. She used to be that soft hearted lady that he could always go to. But now she is the most difficult person that he has ever known. Because despite all he has done to please her, she wasn't pleased and she even became more cold towards him by the day. Honestly he doesn't know how he would ever be able to face her for the next two to three days before the party will finally kick off but he would just look for a way to cope. Which is trying his best to avoid her and also making sure he gets himself so busy that he doesn't have to think of her for even a second and that is what he was going to do. He remained seated in his office as he kept working on the files in his desk as he tried his best to be totally focused on his work and not get distracted by anything else.

Meanwhile Aurora was still in her room. She just finished having her bath and she was now at her dressing table and was actually trying to comb her messy hair. She had actually washed the hair with a shampoo while bathing and that made it very messy and it needed a proper combing which she was so ready to do. She searched through all the comb in the dressing table, looking for the most suitable comb that would comb freely on her long hair. Just then a knock came in and she knew immediately that it was the cook.

"Breakfast is ready right?" Aurora asked.

"Yes ma'am," the cook replied from outside.

"Ok, I will be there shortly." Aurora told her.

"Ok ma'am." The cook replied, and started walking away.

Aurora sighed and turned back to the dressing table. She started searching through the comb again before she finally picked up a comb and started combing her hair immediately. She was done with the hair within a few minutes and she quickly went over to the closet and opened it before taking out the dress she was going to wear and dropped it on her bed. Before proceeding to take her underwear and started getting dressed immediately. But as she dressed up she wondered if Adonis was already in the dining room already or he was still avoiding her and sighed.
