Chapter 38

"I think I do." Aurora said, after they disengaged from the kiss.

"Hmm,"Adonis exhaled. "I don't know though, but we will see about that later, but first let's return to the party, besides I have plans for it all for you." Adonis said,

"I'm flattered." Aurora smiled, holding her chest. And Adonis returned the smile and held her hand as they both started walking back to the party.

Adonis was really so happy and excited as they both walked hand in hand back to the party. He just couldn't hide his excitement, he had really been sad all the while that Aurora was acting cold towards him. And now all the cold attitude has finally come to an end. So he would really smile and enjoy the party now. He went around with Aurora as they both had wine and also the food they were preparing for the party together.

Meanwhile Aurora on her part was also surprised she was able to just forgive him so easily. She never knew she still had such a soft spot for him. She knows she loved him before now, but she had also thought all those feelings she had towards him died back at the place they went to for that conference. But now she knows better. All her feelings for him were not really dead, but hidden and covered with anger, and since he had apologized the anger is totally gone now. She could now feel the love she had for him returning again. She really just can't wait to be alone with him again. She was now addressed as 'Luna' by everyone around. She just couldn't help but smile at the attention and respect she was now getting from the people seated there. She smiled and just waved at them as they showed praises on her.

She remains seated with her Alpha on the high table. They were served special drinks by the maids,who bowed as they presented the drinks to them. Aurora was even more surprised when she saw the maids who had been disrespecting her because of Tania bowing and serving her. She was really happy about the new development in her life. So from now onwards,no one was ever going to try to disrespect her ever again, because she had been announced as the official Luna. That was like a dream come true for her. She had been sad and bored because of the level of disrespect she had been getting before now. But now the tables have turned, Tania won't be able to disrespect her ever again. She thought and her smiles increased, she just couldn't wait to see how her life would go after today. It was indeed a great day for her.

Meanwhile Tania was seated in a far end of the party and her eyes were fixed on Aurora and Adonis. At first when Adonis didn't the introduction, she couldn't just believe her eyes. She felt really sad about it, and even to think about the fact that she had helped Adonis in the whole planning of the party. If she had known it was to introduce Aurora as Luna, she wouldn't have agreed to help him out. Now she was the one in pain. She won't be able to bully Aurora ever again, because everyone would see Aurora as Luna, and they would be too scared to even think of bullying her or laughing at her. They are all afraid of Adonis and hold him with high respect,so they just couldn't dare to disrespect his Luna, because they knew for sure that they would have to face him if they ever tried. And no one can stand the Alpha and his brutal personality.

So they won't even think of getting involved in any of her plans to humiliate Aurora again. She can't possibly do it alone,no matter what. So she was so sad beyond comparison. She remained seated there sadly as she watched them drink the wine in their glasses that was raised up a few minutes ago. She could still see the smile that was plastered on Adonis face. And she could tell immediately that he was really happy and also enjoying himself. Throughout the time they were both always together, planning the party, she didn't see any smile on Adonis face. But now that he was seated with his Luna on the high table, it's only his smile that she could see.

She wished all the love and respect given to Aurora right now, were being given to her. She wished she could just change everything right now and become Luna instead of Aurora. She has always wanted the position of a Luna, since she knew that Adonis' first Luna and mate was dead. And she was also happy that he would have no other choice than to just pick any random girl to be his Luna, whenever he was ready to get himself a new Luna,to replace the dead one. But she was surprised again when she saw him bring in Aurora and told her Aurora was his mate. Why would the moon goddess decide to give him a second chance mate, instead of just allowing him to pick any random girl to be his Luna. She had really worked hard to be as close to him as possible, and she really succeeded. But she didn't get to be Luna before Aurora showed up in their life, that's why she just can't like Aurora for now reason.

But also she can't really fight Aurora because she is now more important in the house than her. She would just try to keep her distance from Aurora,so she doesn't offend Adonis because he might just kill her immediately, she does something that doesn't please him again. She could tell from Adonis' smiling face that he really likes Aurora and is also so proud to have her as his Luna. She wished she could just leave the party immediately, because the more she was seeing the both of them together, the more she was feeling hurt. And even the respect being given to Aurora by the people was also killing her slowly. She had wanted all those respect from the people, and the special attention Aurora was getting from Adonis. She sighed heavily and just shut her eyes slowly and tried catching her breath.

Meanwhile the cook also noticed the happiness all over Aurora and Adonis, and she couldn't just help but smile. She felt really happy that Aurora and Adonis were now back together. And they have finally settled their misunderstanding and they are back together. But she could also tell that this time they were both not going to hide their feelings from each other. She could see the love in them and all they were doing right now on the table. She has never seen them that happy together before until today, and she couldn't help but smile. She felt satisfied and also hoped they were both not trying to pretend to smile because of the crowd in the house at that moment.

She hoped the smiles were real and not faked. She had always been expecting that kind of smile from them before now and she hoped it would be real and not an atom of fakeness in it. But to her she feels it genuine because she had never seen them that way before. And she was sure no one would ever be able to fake a smile that was, and the smile would show sincerity to the public. She remained at a distance and continued watching them. Just then she remembered Tania and how she had been all over Adonis the party for a few days. "I think Tania needs to see this,by the way, where is she?" The cook said out loud, as she started searching for Tania in the crowd. She could only imagine how Tania would be feeling once she sees how much the two couples are right now.

Cook's eyes finally landed on Tania who was seated far away, and very close to the entrance of the house. She hid herself in the crowd and her eyes were closed tightly. And immediately a smile found a way in the cook's face, she could tell immediately that Tania had seen the two love birds and she was now sad that was why she shut her eyes. She felt satisfied with what she had seen right now with Tania. She has never liked Tania for Adonis, not even for a minute. Even before Aurora came into the picture, she didn't for once want Adonis to look at Tania's way. Though she knows that Tania has feelings for Adonis but she just doesn't want Tania for the Alpha. And she was really happy when she saw Adonis bring in Aurora that she was his mate. She actually felt so happy and from the moment she saw Aurora, she knew she would be nice too and a perfect match for Adonis.
