Chapter 17

Adonis remained seated in the dining room for a while before the cook finally came back with the food. She apologized again before serving him some and he didn't wait a minute, he started eating like a hungry fellow. He wasn't really hungry though but he just wanted to go over to Aurora's room as Soon as possible. He wanted to see her face and stared at her all night. He didn't really know he would care that much for someone else until now. He still seems surprised about everything. After eating he took up the glass of water on the table and zipped it down his throat before standing up. He didn't bother for anything else as he started walking out of the dining room. He thought of heading straight to Aurora's room but just then a thought came into his mind about how he was going to approach her. Will he just go into her room and start kissing her or stand taking off her clothes? So that was something he had to consider before stepping his foot into Aurora's room. He needed to have a good thought over it before going to her so it would be best if he goes over to his room to think properly about how he was going to approach her.

He sighed and made a turn to his room. He walked into his room and had his seat on the couch as he went into deep thoughts. He thought about a much better way to approach her but not coming. So he decided to ask the wolf for a little help. At first his wolf refused to answer but after he had disturb it for a while he finally spoke up. "I don't know how we are going to approach her, but I think we should just do it as we usually do before now."

"No, I don't think that's a good idea, because you and I know she isn't happy with us." He said,

"No us, just you, I wasn't included in your bad deeds." His wolf corrected.

"Ok whatever but all I'm saying is that it's just not a good idea to just go into her room like we always did before now." Adonis told him wolf.

"Ok, give me a moment to come up with something." His wolf replied.

"Ok, I'm waiting." Adonis said, and a total silence followed.

His wolf was silent for a while and Adonis waited patiently for it to say something because he knew that whatever his wolf said next would always be a solution to the problem he was facing now. After a while the wolf finally said. "I think you should go into her room with a gift that you know she would love and she wouldn't be able to resist it, then you can start making out with her as usual." His wolf told him.

"Wow, that is brilliant." He smiled.

"Yes, I always bring brilliant ideas." His wolf boasted.

"Ok but I think there is a little problem here." He sighed.

"What are you talking about?" His wolf asked curiously.

"Well the problem here is, it's night already and I can't simply get a gift for her again right now." He explained.

"Oh, then that's really a problem here, because that gift is supposed to be your ticket into her room." His wolf said,

"Yes, that simply means we have to postpone this plan to tomorrow when evening will be available." He sighed.

"Oh that's true but it's so sad, I actually thought I would mate tonight." His wolf complained.

"I understand you but tomorrow isn't so far away,we will definitely have our mate to ourselves." He assured his wolf.

"Alright then, good night,go to bed immediately so tomorrow will come as soon as possible." His wolf told him.

"Ok, I will do that immediately." He said, and got up on his feet.

He moved towards his bed and turned on the bedside lamp before proceeding to the switch to put off the lights. He shut his room door properly before walking back to his bed. He climbed on his bed and relaxed back before shutting his eyes as he awaited sleep to overtake him.

Meanwhile Aurora wasn't also sleeping; she had left the dining room earlier so she wouldn't see Adonis walk in. But since she left her room she hasn't been able to sleep until now. It was already late at night but yet she doesn't feel sleepy for a bit. She had been reading a book since she entered her room thinking she was going to sleep off while reading but until now her eyes were still wide open without any form of sleep coming. She could only hope that she doesn't stay awake like the previous day. She took the book from her face and sat up on her bed. She was actually tired of reading the book and she wasn't ready to continue with it. She thought of doing something else but the only thing she could think of was going over to the sitting room and asking the cook for a cookie again like the previous day. But that wasn't just a good idea again because she remembered how she had slept off in the sitting room, making those annoying maids mock her and she doesn't want to do that again or meet with the maid's annoying glance again in the morning. But she still wants to eat those tasty cookies the cook gave to her last night. She thought for a while on what to do to get the cookies again that night. But after a while she finally decided on what to do.

She got down from her bed and started walking out of her room. She walked past the sitting room and headed straight to the kitchen hoping to meet the cook there again but unfortunately the cook wasn't there anymore and the kitchen was totally quiet. She frowned immediately knowing full well that she wouldn't be able to have the cookies she yielded for. She wished she could just go over to the Cook's room but that's not possible because she doesn't even know the room in the house the cook was occupying. She sighed and went towards the refrigerator and took out a fruit juice and shut back the refrigerator. She proceeded to take up a glass before walking out of the kitchen. She headed straight back to her room and shut the door. She opened the fruit juice while sitting on her bed and poured out some content into the glass in her hand and zipped it down her throat immediately. "This tastes really good but I wish there were cookies to eat together with it." She said to herself, and poured out more into the glass. She also zipped it down her throat and continued pouring more for herself and just drank it up until the can was totally empty. She dropped the empty cans and glass on her nightstand drawer and climbed into her bed again. She relaxed back into the bed and picked up the book again and continued reading from where she had stopped.

Soon it was morning and Adonis was already up. He took his bath and got prepared to go and get Aurora the gift that morning. He had been thinking of what he was going to get her since he woke up that morning and he had finally settled for something. So he only needs to get out there and get it for her. He was already dressed and he got out of his room. As he walked by the maids and guards that saw him greeted him cheerfully and he replied to them with a wave and smile plastered on his face as he walked on. He was finally in the sitting room and was now about to step out of the house when the cook spoke up. "Alpha breakfast is served."

"I will be right back, I need to get something." He replied, and she nodded and went away, while he continued his walk. He was already out of his house and stepped away a little when he remembered he needed to see Aurora's face that morning because he didn't really see her last night. He quickly turned back and started heading back in.

Meanwhile Aurora was in the dining room alone. She asked the cook about Adonis and she told her he was heading out for a while and that he would be back shortly. She sighed happily thinking she would be eating alone again that morning without seeing him. Just as she was settled to eat, Adonis walked into the dining room and she gave the cook a look, who also told her that she was also surprised to see him there again. Aurora sighed and just turned back to her food while the cook also went to serve Adonis his food. Adonis glance at Aurora as he started eating.
