Chapter 7

Aurora needed some air, so she got dressed into her nightgown and walked out of the room. She went out to feel the freshness of the natural air. She was just walking through the path leading outside with her heavy heart. She was actually sad because Adonis has used her again like he always does and didn't even bother to care about her feelings. At first when Adonis started asking her about her family she felt really happy that he was interested in knowing her but now she felt it was just a trick he had used to make her happy and allow him to do what he wanted with her. She wished she was wise until and stopped him when he made the first attendance but now he has left her broken again.

Aurora looked to her front and saw some Alpha gathered too and they were having a serious discussion and also mentioning Adonis name. She felt like listening to them so she could know what they were talking about Adonis. She hid herself a little on the wall and tried to listen.

"Adonis is so much of a threat to us,we all know how strong he is." One of the Alpha's said,

"Yes, I totally agree with you, Adonis is a dangerous monster, and we can't allow him to stay alive." Another added.

"Ok,so what are we going to do about it now,we can't just go straight to him and fight him." Another of the Alpha spoke up.

"Yes, I know that, and I think I have a plan." The first one said,

"Ok,go ahead and tell us what your plans are about." The second one replied to him.

"Well we will have to poison him, during breakfast, since he is here with us." The first one told them.

"Wow, that's a brilliant idea." Another of the Alpha commented.

"Exactly what I was about to say too, but where are we going to get a poison from at this time of the night?" The third Alpha asked.

"Leave that to me, I will get it done immediately." The second one replied.

Just then Aurora gasped, she had tried to be so quiet all the while they were talking but she couldn't just keep it in anymore. And immediately all the Alphas turned towards her and saw her. She quickly turned around and started running away immediately she noticed she had been caught.

"Don't let her escape." The first Alpha said, and they all started chasing after her.

Aurora heard that and tried to hasten her feet. She needed to report what she had just heard to Adonis. His life was in danger, even though she was so angry with him and hurt by how he had treated her. She just couldn't help but to care about her. She couldn't let anything happen to him while she was there. She continued running while they chased after her. She was a little tired so she quickly hid herself on a path where some things were kept and she saw the Alphas run past. She quickly came out of her hideout to go in search of Adonis but unknown to her that there was another Alpha that was still behind. Immediately she came out he grabbed her and she tried to escape but his grip on her was so strong. He took her to their dungeon and locked her up there before going to meet with the other Alpha.

Meanwhile Adonis already knew of the plans of the other Alphas. He knew they had planned to double cross him and kill him, so he already made his own plans too. He called his rogues who came immediately. Adonis went to the other Alphas where they were gathered again with his rogues and started killing them one after the other. They pleaded but he was that cold hearted Alpha who doesn't think twice before killing anyone he wished to kill. He doesn't listen to any pleading whenever he wants to kill. After killing them he asked his rogues to set the house on fire as he went in search of Aurora.

Luna Fae noticed that Aurora was in the dungeon and went to rescue her but Adonis showed up at the dungeon and grabbed Luna Fae by the neck as he strangled her. "Please let her go, she wasn't trying to hurt me, she is my friend and she came to save me." Aurora pleaded with Adonis for her to be released but Adonis was just too stubborn to listen. He continued strangling her until she finally gave up the ghost and he let go of her dead body and went over to the door of the dungeon and broke it open.

Aurora quickly ran to Luna Fae who was already lying dead on the ground. Hot tears clouded her eyes as she tried to shake her to wake up. "How could you do this, she is innocent and was just here to save me." Aurora yelled with tears flowing down her cheeks. But Adonis didn't say a word.

"You are really a monster and I hate you." She yelled while Adonis remained quiet.

"We have to go now the house is burning." Adonis said,

"I'm not leaving, just get away from me, you monster." She yelled still in tears.

Just then Adonis knew she was really hurt with the death of the lady he just killed but he couldn't let her stay in the house for another minute. The house was burning and they needed to go immediately. He walked towards her and carried her into his shoulder and started walking away. But she tried to get down from his shoulder while hitting him hard to release her. But he didn't release her. They both got out of the house and they met some of his rogues and a car was already waiting for them with their bags already inside. One of his rogues opened the door for him and he put Aurora into the car and also got into the car while another got into the driver seat. They drove out of the premises immediately.

They finally arrived home and Adonis got down from the car while Aurora also did the same. She didn't bother talking to him and just made her way into the house. She headed straight to her room and opened the door and went in immediately. She was really angry at him and she wished she didn't even see him for a while but that's not possible though. She sat on her bed and her mind went over to the death of Luna Fae again. Just then her room door flipped open and some maid brought in her things. She just glanced at their direction and turned away as they walked to her closet and put in the bags before walking out of her room. She sighed and got up on her feet as she walked over to her bathroom. She was feeling happy at all; she actually felt so hurt beyond comparison. She also blames herself for the death of Luna Fae. She mixed a cold soapy water into her bathtub and took off her clothes and got in. It was so late at night but she really needed a cold bath to make her feel relaxed. She couldn't just help it but think about Luna Fae.

"She doesn't deserve to die." She said to herself as she relaxed back into the cold water in the bathtub.

She stayed in the bathtub for more than an hour before finally standing up. She walked closer to a towel and took it before using it to dry her body. She sighed and tied it around her chest before proceeding into her room. She had her seat in her dresser and glanced at her reflection on the mirror a while before standing up. She opened her closet and took out another nightgown before closing it back. She got dressed and turned off the lights before climbing into her bed. She put on the bedside lamp and relaxed back into her bed and pulled the duvet over herself. She slept off almost immediately.

Adonis also felt bad about what he did. He should have just left her when Aurora pleaded with him. He knows now that she was really so upset with him right now. He hoped she would be feeling better by morning and not think of what happened too much. He also needed some rest so he shut his eyes.

It was already morning and everyone was already up. The maids were busy doing their work while Adonis was now in his office. There were some things he needed to do the previous day but he decided to skip them because of Aurora but now he would have to do them. He was still in his office when the cook came to call him for breakfast. He actually wanted to also skip breakfast but decided to go because he remembered Aurora was angry at him last night. So it was an opportunity to see her that morning.
