Aurora was still fast asleep when she heard a knock on her room door, which made her open her eyes immediately. She stood up reluctantly from her bed and slowly walked towards the door. She opened the door and saw the cook standing there.
"Good morning ma'am," the cook greeted, with a smile plastered on her face.
"Yes good morning." Aurora replied, yawning.
"I guess, I disturb your sleep ma'am, I'm sorry." The cook apologized.
"No, it's actually fine." Aurora said,
"Alright, ma'am breakfast is served,so I thought of calling you." The cook told her.
"Ok, thanks I will be there shortly." She replied, and the cook turned around and started walking away.
Aurora hit her head softly before shutting back her room door. She was over to her dresser and stared at her reflection in the mirror. "Oh my goodness, I'm sure a mess." She said, and started walking over to the bathroom. She quickly mixed warm soapy water into her bathtub before taking off her clothes. She dumped her clothes in the laundry basket and stepped into the bathtub. She took up a soap as said, using it to wash her skin as she remained in the water.
Aurora got out of the bathtub after a while and took up a towel and used it in drying her body. She hung the towel back into the rope before walking out of the bathroom. She went straight to her closet and picked up her clothes and started dressing up. She slowly walked out of the room and started heading towards the dining room.
Meanwhile Adonis was already in the dining room and he was already served his breakfast. He couldn't just start eating because the main reason he had come to the dining room was because he wanted to see Aurora but he still hasn't seen her. The cook told him she would come to join him shortly when he asked about her when he first got to the dining room and until now she hasn't come yet. He was actually running out of patients waiting for her.
"Are you sure you actually called her?" He asked the cook again.
"Yes Alpha, I didn't." The cook replied.
"And she actually promised to come down for breakfast?" He asked again.
"Yes Alpha, she did." The cook answered.
"Well I don't believe that, I think you should probably go again and check up on her." Adonis said,
"Ok Alpha." The cook said, and turned to leave but just then Aurora appeared at the door.
The cook saw her immediately and sighed relief as she waited for her to walk closer. Which she did, Aurora walked towards the chair opposite Adonis and had her seat. The cook went to her and started dishing out her food immediately. Aurora tried as much as possible to avoid Adonis' glance all through when they were eating and Adonis knew immediately that she was still angry at him.
After they were done with breakfast Aurora quickly walked out of the dining room without sparing him a single glance. She just walked towards the cook and mouthed a 'thank you' to her before leaving. Adonis sighed after she left and also stood up from the chair he was sitting and went away too. The cook started taking out the dishes immediately they had both left. She actually noticed the cold attitude Aurora was giving to Adonis and knew something was actually wrong. She could judge what it was but deep down she knew it would be serious. She knows how cheerfully Aurora was and she has never seen her give stay so quiet or even not bother to spare Adonis a glance. She wished she could probably find out what was wrong with Aurora but that won't be possible because she was only just a cook and nothing more so she doesn't have the right to do that or walk up to Luna. She slowly took the dishes inside the kitchen.
Adonis walked back into his office and sat down while he tried to continue with the work he had on his table but his mind just couldn't concentrate as it went off to Aurora. He knew she was really angry at what he had done back at the pack they were for the conference. He actually wished he could take back the time and correct his mistake. He didn't really just kill Luna because he just wanted her to die but he killed her because he was already angry that they had all planned it. He really doesn't want to leave any survival in that house, because he saw them all as betrayal. But right now Aurora was angry at him because of that. He wished she could see things from his own view. But he knows that's not possible, so he only has to find a way to make her stop the anger inside of her and forgive him fully. He got on his feet and started paving through his room as he thought of something he could use to please her. He continued paving but nothing since to come into his head and he frowned.
He will have to ask anyone he knows to give him some reasonable advice. He sighed and went back to his chair Again and sat. He relaxed back on the chair and shut his eyes and tried to shake off the thought of her.
Aurora was seated on her bed with her cell phone in her hands. She was so bored but didn't know what to do. She just couldn't believe that the only friend she was able to get was actually dead now. And her mate was responsible for her death. Just spending a few hours with Luna Fae, she could help but like her personality. She saw her as a very calm and loving person but now her life was caught short and also their friendship was all because of her mate. She can't forget about it easily. She has always put it in mind that her mate has made her lose a good friend. She would have preferred it if he did something else to hurt her like he always does but making her lose a good friend was just too much. She could only wonder if she was ever going to be able to forgive him.
Aurora was still lost in her thoughts when someone knocked at her room door interrupting her thoughts. She frowned immediately and wondered who it was. She wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone right now or even see anyone in her room. She just wanted to be left alone for a while. She is still very hurt like the incident just happened a few minutes ago.
She heard the knock again and thought it might be Adonis who was coming to talk to her. "Please just leave me the hell alone, I don't want to talk or see anyone right now." Aurora said,
Just then the door flipped open and Tania walked into the room. "So you have been hearing me knocking since and you decided to be quiet in here." Tania told her, as she stood in front of her.
"Please Tania, just leave me the hell alone, I'm not in for this drama today." Aurora said,
"I'm actually about to take a walk around the pack and I want you to come with me." Tania told her, ignoring what she just said,
"Didn't you hear what I just said?" Aurora asked.
"You said, that trash is for yourself and not for me,so just stand up right now let's start going." Tania told her.
"Oh then you have to force me to go with you and right now is actually not the best time though." Aurora said,
"Anytime I get here is the best time,so just stand up right now,or else I will go and report to Adonis right away." Tania threatened.
Aurora just looked at her and shook her head negatively. She was so ready to disobey Adonis for the first time. She was tired of Tania bossing her around and even if she has to do that it should be right now that she was in a very bad state.
"I'm talking to you Aurora, come with me now." Tania ordered.
"Just go and report me already because I'm not going anywhere." Aurora said, with finality and Tania gasped seeing her confidence.
Tania immediately knew that she was actually having a bad day. She knew immediately that all she had planned to do to her that day was already shattered. She has to let her be for today but she won't give up. She will definitely carry out her plans some other time but it's just not today. She sighed heavily and glanced at Aurora one more time before walking out of her room. She wasn't really happy about the fact she wasn't able to get Aurora out of her room but she had no choice but to just go to her own room too.
