Adonis walked into his office and shut the door behind him as he proceeded to have his seat which he did. He took up some documents he was checking over before and continued from where he had stopped on it. He continued working for hours before his mind drifted off to Aurora and he wondered what she would be doing and he she was fairing. He remembered how broke she was last night and the urge of going to check up on her came into his mind. But he had to rethink because he was sure that Aurora wouldn't want to see him around her but honestly he just couldn't help but care about her welfare. He stood up from the chair he started paving through his office. He was so sick and worried about Aurora and he just couldn't help it. He knew Aurora wasn't in her right state of mind and it was wrong for him to think of seeing her when he fully knew he was responsible for her mood. He sighed and walked over to the door and called one of his guards who rushed to him immediately.
"Go and call me Tania, I need her in my office immediately." Adonis told the guard who bowed before leaving.
Adonis went back into his office and had his seat. He doesn't want to go over to Aurora's room to check on her himself but he would send Tania to go to her. He really needs to make sure Aurora was ok and she wasn't crying or something. He just wanted Aurora to feel much better. Just then the door of the office flipped open and Tania walked in with a wild smile plastered on her face. She walked towards him and stood in front of him.
"Alpha, you sent it to me." Tania said,
"Yes I did." Adonis sat up from his chair and put his palms together, rubbing them slowly.
"Ok, I'm here now,so is there anything I can help you with?" She asked still with a smile on.
"Yes, I need you to go and check up on Aurora." Adonis said, and she frowned immediately hearing him mention Aurora.
"She is fine, and I don't think I need to check up on her, you can just ask me to do something for you here in your office." Tania said,
"Like I said earlier,go and check up on her, I know she isn't in a good mood right now and I can't help but be worried about her." Adonis said,
"I think she is fine and I don't need to go check up on her, and you don't need to be worried." Tania replied.
"Tania, don't make me repeat myself." Adonis yelled, frightened Tania.
"Yes Alpha, I will go and check up on her immediately." Tania said, and quickly turned around to go.
"Tania wait." Adonis said and Tania stopped.
"As you are going just check up on her and don't even think of adding to her presence because I know what you are capable of." Adonis warned.
Tania walked out of his office with anger. She could believe that Adonis had yelled at her because of Aurora but she would definitely make her pay for it. She got to Aurora's room door and knocked slowly and waited for her to open up. But after a while Aurora didn't open the door or even say anything and that even increased Tania's anger. She knocked the door loudly this time waking up Aurora who had been sleeping in her room. Aurora quickly sat up on her bed and used her hand in cleaning her eyes as she yawned loudly. Tania knocked again this time harder and Aurora asked.
"Who's there?"
"So you are in there and you kept me outside, come and open the door this minute." Tania commanded. Aurora sighed and slowly climbed down from her bed and made her way over to the door. She unlocked the door and flipped it open to see Tania's angry face.
"How dare you keep me waiting outside for so long?" Tania barked.
"Reduce your voice now, I'm not in the mood for this right now, just tell me why you are here." Aurora told her.
"If I can remember clearly I asked you a question first and I deserve an answer." Tania said,
"If you don't want to tell me why you are here, I guess I should probably go back in then." Aurora replied.
"I guess you are fine then, I should also go then." Tania said, and turned around and started walking away.
Aurora remain standing at the entrance of her room as she watched Tania walked away. She heaved a sigh and shakes her head negatively before walking back into her room and shutting back the door.
Aurora rested her back against the door after shutting it and glanced around her room. She wondered what Tania came for and also thought about the last words she had used. Did Tania come to check up on her or what? This question popped up in her head and she just knocked it off and started walking back to her bed. She sat on her bed and frowned knowing Tania had woken her up from her beauty sleep and now she won't be able to sleep again. She climbed back into her bed and tried sleeping again but it wasn't just working. She had a little peace while she was asleep but now Tania had just taken it away by waking her up with her loud knocks and all she could do now is to wallow in her sorrow. She relaxed back on her bed and shut her eyes again.
Just as another sleep was about entering her eyes she heard a knock on her door making her frown immediately. "Who is there again, I hope it is not Tania again because I won't take it lightly with her this time." She thought, and slowly sat up again.
She thought of asking who it was but decided to just walk over to the door and opened it instead. She quickly climbed down from her bed and opened the door only for her to see the cook standing there innocently.
"Good afternoon ma'am, lunch is served." The cook said, bowing in respect.
"Oh ok, I will be there shortly." Aurora told her and the cook smiled and started walking away.
Aurora quickly went back into her room and headed straight to her restroom. She eased herself and splashed some water on her face before she walked out of the restroom. She dried her face with a towel and also her hand before walking out of the room. She was on her way to the dining room when she remembered she was going to meet Adonis in the dining room. She just froze at a spot and thought of what to do. She doesn't know if she should just return back to her room and not bother about having lunch or just go to the dining room to face him. She wasn't really happy with the fact that she was going to meet her worst enemy on the dining table but she still doesn't feel like just not showing up there. She recalled how innocent the cook was when she told her to come to the dining room. She continued debating whether to go over to the dining room or not for a while before she finally decided to go.
She took a deep breath before proceeding to the dining room. Immediately she entered the dining room. The cook saw her and smiled at her. She just faked a smile and walked over to a chair which was really far away from Adonis' chair. Adonis notices this but remains calm because he already knows why she was doing all of that and he had promised himself to make up for it. He would allow her to do whatever she wanted for now until he finally figured out how to make her happy and also make her forgive him. He just bowed his head and focused on his food but always glanced at Aurora from time to time as the cook also went to dish some food for Aurora.
Aurora also started eating without bothering about anything. She just wanted to eat and just leave the dining table immediately. She can't stand staying with him for too long in the dining room. She was grateful that he didn't even try to start up a conversation with her. Because she doesn't know if she would ever reply to any of his words and thereby embarrass him in front of the cook who was still standing there and waiting for them to finish eating. She was actually ok with the fact that Adonis was quite all true at lunch time. She was finally done with her food after a while and she quickly stood up and started walking away while Adonis just glanced at her as she walked hastily out of the dining room.
