Chapter 19

Aurora quickly ran over to the main door when Tania wasn't looking. She stood at the door and glanced back at Tania who was still busy staring at the maids coming to her. She smiled as she waited patiently for the maids to get to where Tania was standing. They maids were finally there after a while and Tania looked at Aurora where she knew she was standing but couldn't find her there anymore and the maids were already standing beside her. "Where did she go?" Tania asked no one in particular as she started looking around for Aurora.

"What are you looking for? and where is the little Luna you have called us to come and see?" One of the maids asked.

"She was just here a while ago." Tania said, as she kept searching.

"Look everyone ma'am Tania has started imagining things." One of the maids screamed and the others bursted out laughing critically and mocking her in the process.

"I'm not imagining things with you and don't you ever say that again." Tania warned angrily.

"If you weren't imagining things then, where is she right now?" The maid asked.

"Like I said before she was just here a few minutes ago." Tania said,

"As you can see, there is no one here right now, so you saw her in your imagination or should I say you were daydreaming?" The maid asked.

"Stop it right away you moron." Tania barked.

"Please guys let's get going because right now ma'am Tania is wasting our time with her imagination." The maid said, and the other maids laughed as they all turned around to leave. And that again hurts Tania even more. She knew for sure she was standing with Aurora there before but she really didn't know when she left and now she was embarrassed because of Aurora. She was going to make Aurora pay for that. She said with anger written all over her face. She was not going to allow Aurora to go free. She turned around to walk back to her room inside and she saw Aurora standing in the door. So she had been there all this while, when those naughty maids were talking to her.

Aurora noticed she was coming and quickly walked in fully and ran straight to her room. Tania went into the house but didn't bother chasing Aurora because she knew she would be in her room right now and she also needs to go to her room too. Tania frowned as she walked over to her room leaving one thing in mind which is to get back at Aurora for what she had done to her.

Meanwhile Aurora was now in her room and she had locked up her door and was waiting for Tania to come and door on her door because she saw the fury in her eyes while she was walking in and for sure she knows Tania would blame her for what happened and she would definitely want to get back at her. She was actually happy that she was able to run away before the maids could get to where she was standing with Tania. Honestly she was so tired of always being humiliated by Tania before the maids that were supposed to respect her because she was a mate to the Alpha and so deserves respect from all of them, even though she knew that Adonis didn't care much about her or even see her as his Luna.

She remained seated on her bed with her eyes fixed on the door as she waited patiently for Tania to knock on the door. But after waiting for almost an hour she was surprised that Tania didn't come and she was also convinced that Tania wasn't going to come to her again. But again she wondered why Tania decided not to come to her room because she could tell how furious Tania was when she saw her walking into the house but what really made her change her mind and not come straight to her room right away. She thought and sighed before climbing into her bed. She wished she never went outside the house in the first place and all of that that was happening now wouldn't have occurred. She wouldn't get Tania so upset but actually it wasn't her fault though and Tania also got what she deserves because she has really humiliated her before the maids and watching the maids talk back at Tania was actually a good time because she will finally know how she always feel whenever the maids also insult her. Aurora relaxed back into her bed and took up the book she just finished a few minutes ago before heading out of her room. She was slowly getting bored again and she needed something to entertain her. But looking at the book she doesn't really feel entertained because she had read the book before.

Aurora thought of going out again to get another book from the library but she was a little scared. What if Tania was waiting for her to come out? The thought popped into her head and it scared her. She knows how much Tania hates her and she can do anything possible just to hurt her expecting not that she has seen a good reason to do so. She decided not to go out again but rather stay inside her room. She wasn't really to get hurt by Tania because she knows she can fight her back right now. She tried to shut her eyes slowly and get some sleep before noon. But the more she tried the more she saw that she wasn't really going to sleep any moment soon. She kept turning in a different direction in her bed but suddenly she started feeling tasty and needed to go out to the kitchen to get herself some water but she just couldn't stand up. She wouldn't leave her room for anything while she knew Tania would be ready to hunt her down in any little chance she has got so she remains indoors.

Soon it was noon and the cook was also done making lunch. She took everything to the dining room and set the table. The cook went over to Adonis' room firstly to get him for lunch. Immediately she informed him about lunch, he didn't hesitate and he just walked out of the room immediately like he had been waiting for her to call him. Adonis walked over to the dining room alone while the cook proceeded to call Aurora for lunch.

The cook got to Aurora's room door and knocked and immediately fear gripped her. So she just kept quiet thinking it was Tania that was now in the door and ready to attack her. The cook was surprised that Aurora didn't answer and she wondered why because Aurora always answers immediately when she knocks. She decided to knock again. But she also got no response again and that got her even more surprised.

"Ma'am, are you in there?" She said while knocking the door harder this time. Aurora the cook's voice and decided to speak up.

"Oh you are the one knocking?" Aurora asked, to be sure.

"Yes ma'am, lunch is ready." The cook announced.

"Oh Ok, but on your way here did you see Tania anywhere around here?" She asked.

"No ma'am she is here." The cook replied.

"Ok but are you sure of what you are saying?" Aurora asked again to be sure.

"Yes ma'am she isn't here." The cook answered.

"Ok then." Aurora sighed and slowly got down from her bed as she started walking towards the door. She flipped it open and she saw the cook still standing there. "Let's go." She said and the cook quickly turned around as they both started walking over to the dining room together. Immediately they both stepped into the dining room, Aurora breathing in relief before proceeding to take her seat. She was happy that Tania wasn't waiting for her out of her room. She had thought Tania would probably do that to unleash her anger on her because she would see it that she was the cause. Aurora was actually happy that no hard came to her and she also hopes when she will be returning to her room the room will also be clear and free of Tania wrath. She finally had her seat and the cook quickly dished out her food and that of Adonis.

Adonis glanced at her and could see she was lost in thought even when she was still eating. He had seen how she took a deep breath when she walked into the dining room like someone was after her. And he could only think of one person but he also wished he could just ask her straight away of who was actually after her. He sighed and just tried his best to be focused on the food he was eating and not think of her too much besides he had planned the evening well.
