Ivy My eyes droop and I groan as I sit up and look around. Green is droning on about something or another but I can't seem to grasp a single thing he says. Across the room, Leif is twirling a pencil in his fingers, staring up front with a bored expression. I yawn and cover my mouth with the back of my hand. "Miss Hightower, am I boring you?" I sit up and widen my eyes. "No, Mr. Green, I'm sorry. I just...missed out on sleep last night. It won't happen again." Leif sniggers in his seat and I glare in his direction. It's his fault. He and I, despite the gut-churning guilt I feel over it, have been experimenting with the boundaries the fated mates bond has on me. We kiss. He touches me, but nowhere inappropriate, and we cuddle. It's stupid, but that's the only thing we can do together
