I have to say that I was surprised to feel happier here. I never in my life would have thought that I'd enjoy being in The Bayou. I'm sure it had everything to do with two people.
Leif, Ivy, and I were almost inseparable. Image that sh*t. Not too long ago I wouldn't be caught even standing ten feet close to Ivy and now I craved it.
Of course, in public, we were only friendly to each other. We couldn't do the same stuff we could do in private, but I was okay with that. Just being around her brought me this calm that I didn't have back home.
And Leif, well he was the happiest I had ever seen him. Since the night we were together, he wouldn't stop smiling and it did something inside of me to know that it was because of me. Or us. The three of us.
