CHAPTER 2 – MEETING

In the dream/flashback

Are you the one? The boy ask and he going to speak but he said something else than what he was about to say. “I am what?” he said with a cheerful tone. The boy glares at him and ask again. “Are you the one that save the tree?” The boy said. He tried to deny it but he can’t open his mouth and instead he smiled and he got closer to the tree. “Yes, I saw that the tree means a lot to you that’s why I saved it” he said and looks at the boy. He realizes that he was on a dream and can’t control what’s happening so he let his body move on his own. “Did you save it because you like my sister?” the boy said. Then he smiled. “Are you jealous?” he asked. Then the boys just glare at him and leave him alone in the tree. But he was still smiling and sat on its root.

BRRRRR… The alarm sound can be heard in his room and he turns it off. He looks around and checks if he’s still dreaming but there’s nothing unusual. He gets up and washes his face and teeth. He wears his favorite blue apron with butterfly on it. He turn on the music and ballad start to play in each corner of the room. He hums with the melody and start to cook. He starts by washing the fresh vegetable and cut it. He turn on the stove and put the pan on it. He pours the oil in the pan and put the vegetable on it. The fragrance of the dish lingers in the room. It smells so delicious that anyone will salivate when they smell the dish.

He pours it on the bowl and scoops some rice. He was satisfied to his cooking and was about to eat when he heard a knock from the door. He remembers that he hired a professional gardener to decorate and manage his garden. He walks his way to the door and opens it. When he open it he saw a young man that looks like the boy in his dream but older. He still have the cold attitude but he look little gentler than the dream. He was so shock that he didn’t notice that he was staring at the young man weirdly. He fake a cough and he let the young man in. He can’t believe it he really looks like the boy in his dream and his action is the same too. The way he walk and sit was still graceful. He tried to pinch himself but he got hurt in the end. He just ignores it and he asks what drink the young man will have. The young man said tea and he walk to his kitchen to make tea. He looks back and forth to the young man and he just can’t believe what’s happening right now.
