CHAPTER 4 – COMMON BLUE

Modern day/ Reality

Maoki’s garden was finish and today his butterfly will begin to come out of their shell. He was so excited that he woke up earlier today. He eat his breakfast so fast that he accidentically choke. He fill a cup of water and let the food to push down to his throat. He let out a sign and he carefully finish his breakfast. When he finish his breakfast he head out to the garden with a smile on his face. He open the net and go inside the garden. He look around and saw that one of the cocoon is shaking. He smiled and look closely to it. The first butterfly that came out was a monarch butterfly. The butterfly made it way to the branch  

This time it’s a peacock butterfly. When someone saw it’s wings. It looks like they have eyes on their wings. The last butterfly  that came out was the common blue. Maoki made his way to their area and he feel like he’s on a cloud. The feeling of satisfied when his dream came true. There are 18 butterflies in total but when he count he only count 17. He was confuse then look around to see if there’s a butterfly that didn’t came out.

He saw that one of the common blue was still inside. But it was a little bigger than rest of the cocoon. In a while Maoki saw that the cocoon start to come out. When it did he saw it was big and the pattern was a little different and it’s a little lighter in color than the rest. The wings was bigger even. He was so impress because the butterfly looks so beautiful. He was lucky he thought then admire the rest. The garden looks more colorful and lively because of the butterflies. He was planning to make it his reading area.

When he was tired he came back to his house and wash himself. After that he made a dinner and eat a lot because he was so hungry when he check the butterflies. He was about to open the sink to wash the dish when suddenly the sink got broken and the water splatter everywhere. He wa really wet and the water keep on going getting the kitchen flooded.

“Do you need help?”
