The next two weeks went by in the blur of school, practices, games, work, and clubs. Collynn had remembered to ask Jackie out to home-coming just that Tuesday. He had given her a rose at lunch and asked her to go with him. She agreed as per their agreement and to not bring any questions to arise.
Jackie was happy that barely anyone had given Morgan a problem when they joined the cheer-leading team. The girls loved them, and those who had a problem either had to get over it or leave.
Collynn, Morgan, and Jackie had grown close throughout the past couple of weeks. They weren't the best of friends yet, but Jackie just knew they were a great addition. They were such an amazing person.
Jackie smiled as Morgan neared her.
"I'm nervous," Morgan admitted. Jackie scrunched her eyebrows.
"Why?"
"Momma came to the game tonight, along with my siblings. I just want her to be proud of me. Also, what if we lose the game? I heard they were ruthless and tough."
Jackie rolled her eyes. "You are going to do great and your mom is going to wonder where this child of her's learned to move like they do. As for the game, win or lose we have a great team."
Morgan nodded their head as the marching band began to play.

During the first half of the game they were tied, 0-0. The Black Jets had gotten stronger, but West Bay's defense was putting up a great guard. They were all beat at half-time, but knew they still had to put their all into this game.
With the last quarter in play, Collynn was worried that they would score because they were beat. Everyone was beyond tired and were putting all of their energy into playing. Collynn knew they were all going to be sore tomorrow at the dance.
Squirting water onto his face he shook his head trying to stay positive. They would win this, there was no way they would lose at their home-coming game. It was the biggest game they had all season. This was the game people came to watch. If they made it to the finals then they would get a big crowd, but he knew many students were only here supporting because they were hyped for the dance.
It was down to the last ten minutes and they had yet to score. Collynn had the ball thrown towards him as he made his way to the end zone. He was so focused on running the play out that he didn't notice that Ava was pushing and yelling at a guy triple her size. He was a linebacker for the Black Jets.
When Collynn scored the crowd cheered loudly. Either the referee didn't care about Ava and the Jet linebacker, or it wasn't violating the rules. It was the former.
When they switched out offensive for defensive Coach was yelling at Ava asking her what that was and if she wanted a flag to be drawn.
Ava was beyond angry that she just scowled at him and stood next to Collynn.
"Don't," She gritted out when Collynn was about to talk. He quickly shut his mouth and watched the defensive try their best to keep them held back.
The game ended with a 7-0 score. The crowd ran out onto the field to congratulate the West Bay players. After the game Ava rushed off before anyone could talk to her about what had happened.
Jackie hugged Collynn and he hugged her back. They both were exhausted and couldn't wait to sleep. Jackie was staying at Collynn's since Braden and Derik had come to see the big game.
Jackie had her dress in her trunk and was going to get ready with Ava the next day.
Jackie's mom hugged her before she entered her car, making her promise she would take pictures.
Back at Collynn's the cuddled up to one another on his bed as a rerun of Rugrats played on the TV.
