 Joseph's POV      Chapter Twenty Eight   I sat by the window for a long time, I knew candy lady had already gone to bed, her lamp which casted butterfly figures around the room had gone off. I couldn't sleep, my mind was spinning on its own. I thought of different things in the same second. But one thing stood out. The thing the Candy Lady said to me at the picnic. I couldn't forget that so easily.   Because she was right, I didn't know what I was doing with my life. Before this time I kind of had something in mind, when Dad was still around. I wanted to be a botanist. But I'm not so sure about that now. I couldn't tell anyone that's what I wanted... Because it was too sappy for someone like me. Only Dad knew about it.
