Chapter Fourty Five
I slipped into my window better than I slipped out. Disappointment bubbled in my chest, but I understood what he said. Who was his mom anyway? Why haven't we seen her yet? And most importantly, who was she obsessed with?
All my questions vanished as I remembered what happened earlier... I snuck into his house, through his bed room window, and we kissed!!! My excitement drummed in my veins. I was too excited I shot up from the bed. Oh my God, oh my goodness!!! It happened. It happened! I screamed internally. It hard not to jump up and down like I was high on something, but for the sake of the sleeping country, I managed a berserk head shake.
