"My mom has your parents."
My knees buckled. Even if he said it breathlessly, I heard and understood that his mom has my parents and it wasn't to have tea.
He caught me before I could land on the steos.
"Where is your sister? We have to make sure she doesn't come home now." He said in determination.
I nod.
My finger finds Andrina's contact and I start to dial before I could stop myself.
"Hello Carrie?"
"Andrina... Please.. help me pick up Gabby from school, and don't bring her home." I say admist tears.
"Okay I will, what's wrong?" She asked in her motherly tone, but alarm was written all over it.
"I'll explain later okay, I want you to do something else for me, when I drop this call, I want you to call the police, send them over to Joseph's house okay?
